  • My motorcycle was stolen from the hotel car park overnight.

Good hotel and breakfast
  • + Good location, comfortable bed, en-suite bathroom big enough, good view
  • Smell of sewage in the bathroom before we turned the shower on ourselves. Room is quite sparse, doesn t look inviting, but you re only there to sleep, so it s ok. I probably wouldn t pay full price to stay here.
  • * my tip would always recommend a diner at Spijshuis Uylenspieghel

Great hotel in Nijmegen
  • + Great location and good breakfast included in the price. The staff is friendly and helpful.
  • Nothing comes to mind apart from the room furniture is perhaps a bit dated though that didn't bother me.
  • * my tip There are many restaurants to be found very close to the hotel. The bicycle museum affiliated with the hotel is worth a visit 9and it's free to hotel guests).

  • + Nice room, clean, quite big, high cealing, nice view (room on the canal). Good breakfast. Free visit to the bicyle museum next door: very interesting. Bicycles to rent at a good price.

Great service - Highly recommended
  • + Great location, very friendly service. Pretty much what I was looking for. Highly recommended and I will absoulty stay there again.
  • I really don't like the split beds and single beds which seem to be so common. A few more beer choices at the bar might be nice.
  • * my tip If you ask for a single room ie. one for one person your going to get a single wide bed so be prepared.

  • (Travelling alone)
an affordable hotel right by the river and close to the center
  • + a good location on shore of Waal-river, and close to town center
  • hotel had not to offer a proper map of town, just a poorly copied A4 sheet.

  • (Travelling alone)
Great value!
  • + Lovely friendly staff - excellent, clean accommodation.
  • Would have been nice to have coffee & tea available in the room, I would normally expect this at a hotel charging these prices. The room was clean and fresh smelling but, strangely, when I opened the wardrobe door, there was such a strong smell that I had to hang up my clothes elsewhere in the room. (Maybe it was moth-repellent in which case, perhaps a less unpleasant and less strong-smelling moth-repellent might be worth considering.)

comfortable & relaxed.
  • + Comfortable room with good shower. Good & relaxed breakfast - served until 11:00. Helpful staff. Nice location by river but only a short walk to centre.
  • Perhaps the single occupancy rate of 75 EURO is a bit high ?

Good hotel in town centre location
  • + Good breakfast Helpful staff Good central location
  • We had a leak in the bathroom although it was fixed quickly. We did not get the room with a view we booked. There is no one available to help after 11pm so when we tried to arrange an wake up call we could not get any reply from reception.

  • + The service was very good, friendly and one fellow doggedly searched for contact information for some family in the area until he found it. That was priceless to us.
  • Our bed was too soft to sleep comfortably. The room was on the small side.

  • + It is a family run hotel and the personal touch is unmistakable. The family provides a friendly service which is lacking in the big chains. I found the family genuinely caring. I shall willingly use the hotel again on my next visit to Nijgmegen. I hope by then they would have seen to the damp in the room that I used.
  • The room appears to be damp. The TV needs to be relocated because its current locations means a restricted viewing.

  • + The excellent score greatly stems from the fact that the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and service-minded, making the stay a pleasure. I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel and I would stay there again if in Nijmegen.
