Description
Hotel Courage is a small-scaled hotel with a homely atmosphere. It is located at the foot of the 'Valkhof,' the place where Charlemagne built a fortress, the remains of which can still be seen today. From the hotel you will have a wonderful view of the Waal and the boats passing by.
The single and double rooms of Hotel Courage are equipped with a bathroom with a shower and toilet. The rooms also have a television and a telephone and guests can use the wireless Internet connection free of charge. Valuables can be kept in the safe and the room temperature can be controlled individually with a thermostat.
Guests of the hotel have free access to the national bicycle museum 'Velorama', where about 250 antique bikes can be admired. And when you feel like cycling yourself, you can rent a modern bike at the reception and cycle along the Via Romana for example. This route will take you to some of the most interesting sites in the surroundings.

From 08:00 h. in the morning guests can have breakfast in the breakfast area. If you wish to use the breakfast buffet at an earlier time, this can be arranged in consultation with the hotel. The hotel has a bar where guests can have a nice drink. For dinner there are many restaurants to choose from along the Waal river, or in the city centre.

This makes it the oldest city in the Netherlands.
