If you prefer to visit a more quiet place, you can go to the beautiful nature areas surrounding Nijmegen. Charming walking and cycling paths run across the Groesbeek woods, the hills of Berg en Dal and the Veluwe National Park. Other great places, such as Arnhem, Utrecht and Apeldoorn are also easy to get to from Nijmegen.
