Mercure Nijmegen Centre lies adjacent to Nijmegen train station and is within walking distance of the lively shopping streets. The hotel is an excellent starting point from which to explore the oldest city of The Netherlands. The city was founded over 2000 years ago when the Romans built the army camp Novio Magus high above the river in the middle of the woods and hills. The names of the hotel's restaurant and bar, Romulus and Remus, still allude to a certain pride taken in Nijmegen's Roman past.
The hotel has an atmospheric bar and restaurant. Guests can also relax in the sauna or on the sunbeds, free of charge. All hotel rooms are non-smoking. The luxury rooms are fitted with air conditioning, a safe, mini bar, satellite/cable television and wireless Internet. The hotel offers five meeting rooms for business guests. These can be set up in various ways and offer space for up to 80 persons. And after a meeting or a visit to the city, you can relax and enjoy Nijmegen's exuberant culinary atmosphere.

Uitstekende ligging ten opzichte spoorwegen.
De kamer en wc zijn schoon. Er zijn voldoende handdoeken.
–
Betreft het ontbijtbuffet: De uitgebakken spek was gewoon ontbijtspek. Advies is om echte Engelse bacon te gebruiken. behalve de smaak is deze bacon minder zout.

We were surprised that a 4 star hotel did not have a restaraunt open on a Sunday night! We had to go out to eat?
