Hotel-Brasserie-Bodega Die Port van Cleve heet u van harte welkom. In dit hotel gaan geschiedenis en een gastvrije sfeer hand in hand met stijl en comfortabele voorzieningen. Die Port van Cleve heeft alles in huis voor een aangenaam verblijf in het bruisende centrum van Amsterdam. Zo is er een brasserie, een bar-bodega en een coffee corner.

Het hotel biedt stijlvol ingerichte kamers, waaronder superior en executive kamers en een aantal suites. De kamers zijn onder meer uitgerust met een bad en douche, toilet, kabel en Pay-TV, radio, kluisje en gratis draadloos internet. Voor vergaderingen van 2 tot 50 deelnemers zijn er diverse multifunctionele ruimtes beschikbaar.

In Brasserie De Poort staat het ontbijtbuffet van maandag tot en met zaterdag klaar van 06:30 tot 10:30 uur en op zondag van 07:30 tot 10:30 uur.
Voor een culinaire maaltijd bent u in de gezellige brasserie ook aan het juiste adres. Naast de Hollandse pot serveert men hier internationale à la carte gerechten.
Brasserie de Poort is al sinds 1870 een bekende eetgelegenheid in Amsterdam. Hier houdt men een bijzondere traditie in stand: het eten van een genummerde biefstuk. Elke biefstuk wordt geserveerd met zijn eigen unieke, genummerde certificaat. Als het nummer op uw certificaat eindigt op 00, ontvangt u een fles wijn van het huis!
Bar-Bodega De Blauwe Parade heeft een authentieke sfeer, die versterkt wordt door een Delftsblauw tegel-tableau. Hier kunt u een aperitiefje of lichte maaltijd bestellen. Een originele jenever- en likeurproeverij behoort ook tot de mogelijkheden.
Met een kopje koffie in Coffee Corner De Hooiberg kunt u genieten van het levendige uitzicht op straat. De openings- en sluitingstijden van de bar wisselen. Het restaurant is de hele dag open tot 22:30 uur.

marion van Atten Personeel roddelt in het bijzijn van klanten: 13 november 2010; 8.4; + Hotel ligt heel centraal!; - Personeel roddelt in het bijzijn van klanten over andere gasten. Dat kan niet in een 4 sterrenhotel. Wij hadden geen raam in onze kamer alleen een klein luikje!

Carine Mertens Aangenaam gelegen hotel: 15 maart 2010; 7.0; + Ideaal gelegen, dichtbij het station en toch midden in de stad waar alles te voet kan afgelegd worden.; - Spijtig genoeg GEEN warm water, dus een bad nemen na een lange dag wandelen en winkelen zat er niet in. (+/- 17-18u).

Robert TOT NOOIT MEER ZIENS !!!!!!: 15 mei 2009; 3.8; + Het personeel is ZEER vriendelijk en de ligging super dat is in ons geval ook het enige wat er goed ging in dit hotel !; - Geen kamers naast elkaar ( maar dat stond al in de mail die we reeds van te voren hadden gestuurd dat dit soms niet mogelijk is) Geen rook kamer! wel vitrage nou ja gatenkaas van de brandgaten van de sigaretten ! bed ? berg metaal! badkamer met haren van de vorige gast. geen warm water te tappen onder de douche oke heel soms!en haren in/aan mijn handdoek ! TV stond op betaal kanaal ! en vooral geen raam open doen! een berg stof tussen de kachel ! maar daar kwamen wij helaas te laat achter !.Nee wat een echt leuk weekeind had mogen zijn is door dit hotel ahum echt verziekt ! god dank mochten we na 1 nacht weer weg !................. tot nooit meer ziens !!! ( en na klacht niets meer vernomen en geen excuus !)

Anoniem Excellent for proximity to all major attractions.: 3 januari 2012; 9.2; + Very friendly staff, very clean hotel and rooms keep immaculate. Proximity to all ajor attractions were all within 10-15 mins walk and the hotel was on a tram line directly outside if you did not fancy walking. The mail train station ( that6 brings you direct to airport) was also only 10 mins walk away; - We did not have food in hotel as the prices were a bit high. The rooms were far too warm but it was explained int he literature that air conditioning would be installed later in the year. There was windows that could be opened but due to the proximity to the main city which was a good thing) the noise on the streets wuld have kept us awake more than the heat of the room.

It was hard to sit on the toilet without your knees being jammed into the wall so used the bathroom in the lobby. Bedroom lighting was low and can be updated.

They added 65 Euros to the confirmed price when we got to the hotel, but we consisted that we woulden't pay more than the confirmed price. To the confirmed price comes 20% city taxes - these you have to pay. No parking at the hotel - big minus. Breakfast too expencive.

S Save your money: 12 februari 2011; 5.0; + Tram stop immediately outside the hotel, so good for getting to other areas of Amsterdam. 10-15 minutes to main train station, close to Dam square etc.; - On check out hotel tried to charge me 585 euros instead of the 322 euros I was quoted on this site, claiming the difference was city tax. It took me 20 minutes of arguing before they reduced the rate, This made me miss my train and I was late for a meeting. Breakfast is expensive. Hotel is in middle of refurbishment which means that you have to pass builders to leave your room in the morning, and you cannot always get to the lifts. One of the lifts is very old and has no door to protect you from the wall/floors as it moves, this is illegal in most European countries. Builders start work at 8am so if you want to have a sleep in forget it. My room was facing the front of the hotel and was noisy most of the night.

Pepe Muy bien situado, pero...: 31 januari 2011; 6.4; + Muy bien situado, ideal para visitar Amsterdam. A destacar la fachada del hotel. Los empleados muy bien, muy amables. Sin problema con el idioma, una empleada hablaba español. La brasserie del hotel muy agradable, y el desayuno buffet bien.; - No responde a un cuatro estrellas, la suite en la que nos alojamos era bastante pobre, el baño incómodo y poco atractivo, la sensación en general no es buena. Los pasillos muy estrechos, las puertas transmiten sensación de pobreza, y poco cuidado.

Cooper: 16 juni 2008; 5.6; + The location is fantastic and some of the staff are helpful.; - The price is expensive for what it is. When we arrived we were given a room which we were told was on the first floor, but was actually a basement, there was no TV reception, the bathroom ceiling was rotting, the window was out onto some industrial piping and other windows in some small yard, the final straw was a spider climbing up the wall. I went to reception and asked for a change, there were no other double rooms so i asked for a twin, which they moved us to, this was on the first floor, was absolutely huge, had a big window facing out over the main street, and a room service menu. It was like being in a different hotel. I wouldnt risk staying here again.
