Noordwijk is conveniently located between Den Haag and Amsterdam. Public transport in the area is excellent, providing ample access to many cities. By bus one can easily reach the hotel from train station Leiden Centraal. Besides the well-established reputation as seaside resort Noordwijk houses the largest department of ESA (European Space Agency ). In 'Space Expo', the visitors centre of ESA, one can find an interactive exhibition about space travel. In Noordwijk one also has the chance to practice many sports, under which are sailing, golfing and horseback riding along the dunes and beach. Those who enjoy hiking and biking can indulge in a visit to the dunes nearby or the 'Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen', a nature reserve.

Noordwijk is a popular seaside resort in the province of Zuid-Holland. The surroundings are characterized by dunes and the beach. North of the village are cities such as Haarlem and Amsterdam, which can be easily reached by public transport.
