The stylish hotel is an excellent choice as a starting point for a visit to the government city The Hague. Besides the 'Binnenhof' and the palace 'Paleis Noordeinde' the city houses interesting museums and nice shops. By car a trip to the beach of Scheveningen is also easy to accomplish.

Without doubt the Van Der Valk Hotel Nootdorp is one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed in. Surroundings

In the vicinity of van der Valk Hotel Den Haag - Nootdorp there are numerous activities for sports enthusiasts. The golf courses 'Golfbaan Delfland' and 'Burggolf Zoetermeer' are about 15 kilometres away and in Zoetermeer one can also find the indoor-ski course 'Snowworld'. The miniature theme park 'Madurodam' in The Hague, the beach of Scheveningen and the water theme park 'Duinrell' in Wassenaar are fun trips for the entire family. The historic centre of Delft is also worth a visit.

Food and Drinks

In the restaurant an extensive breakfast buffet is set up daily from 06:00 to 11:00 h. On Saterday from 07:00 to 11:00h and on Sunday from 07:00 to 10:30h. With traditionally baked bread, fruit salads and an English breakfast there is ample choice. Guests can also visit the restaurant for lunch and dinner. The menu offers a wide variety of high quality dishes. On Monday through Friday there is an extensive lunchbuffet. The kitchen is open until 22:00 h. Reservations are recommended. On Sunday everyone can join the family brunch. The buffet dishes are prepared in the spot by the chefs. Children up to 12 years old can have brunch at a reduced rate. On holidays and during the summer the Sunday brunch is not available. The 'Nova Star bar' offers an informal atmosphere and is perfect to end the day with a drink. This area can also be used for all kinds of parties.

  • – None that my wife and I found generally, other than the small point that TV reception on most channels on the TV in our room was very poor.
  • * my tip The rooms are very big and clean. In our room there was a large bath as well as large shower with small hand shower in addition. We stayed for breakfast and evening meal and the variety and quality of food was very good. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the car park very large with plenty of spaces. What more could you ask for??

  • + Gentillesse de l'accueil, beauté du design, confort de la chambre, du lit et de la salle de bain.
  • – La douche (excellente) laisse malheureusement déborder beaucoup d'eau et le tapis de bain est vite mouillé. Un deuxième bonnet de douche serait le bienvenu ainsi qu'une lingette pour nettoyer les chaussures.

  • – The main difficulty I had was with the location. You really need a car to stay at this hotel if you are doing business in Den Haag. The hotel should consider some sort of shuttle bus service into Den Haag or even Voorburg.
