Van der Valk Hotel Nuland has spacious hotel rooms, all of which are equipped with a television, telephone, safe, a bathroom with a bath, shower, toilet, and hair dryer, and a sitting area. The hotel has 18 conference rooms, that have a modern interior and are equipped with wireless Internet. Nuland is a few minutes' drive away from the beautiful city of Den Bosch. The city is characterized by the gothic architecture that typifies Brabant, an architectural style that can be traced back to the classical French gothic style. Despite the fact that the churches and cathedrals are smaller than the French examples, the buildings in Brabant are still as impressive. The 'Sint-Jan' cathedral is maybe the pinnacle of Brabant's gothic architecture in The Netherlands. The basilica dates from the 14th century and is in the top 100 list of Dutch UNESCO monuments. In addition, in Den Bosch and its surroundings there are numerous museums and cathedrals to be found. The surroundings are also perfect for a good walk or bike ride.

Food and Drinks

The continental breakfast buffet is served daily between 07:00 and 11:00 h. In the restaurant guests can choose from the extensive menu, which boasts seasonal specialities and has a special menu for children. On Sunday the hotel offers an extensive lunch and a Burgundian family buffet. The kitchen is open until 23:00 h. In the cosy 'Cocobar' you can enjoy a drink and a chat. The 'Cocobar' is open on Monday through Saturday between 17:00 and 00:00 h. and on Sunday from 15:00 to 22:00 h.

In the bar, the restaurant, the lobby, and a number of rooms, there is a WiFi Internet connection. The needed prepaid cards are available from the reception.

Hanny: 10 February 2008; 8.8; + Voortreffelijke service:extra informatie betreffende wandelroute, vervoersmogelijkheden naar Den Bosch werden binnen een paar minutten geleverd. Na enkele dagen verblijf persoonlijke benadering waarbij het personeel je herkend.

The accomodation was also good.; - My office booked the wrong date so I had to take an available room, which was very large, clean with nice decor, happened to be outside in a chalet far from the main hotel activities. Also, my friend who dined with me had his car rear window broken (rear of station wagon) and had all his belongings stolen whilst we dined. He parked in front of reception under the lights. Security would make me consider staying again. He was not a guest at the hotel.

tourists from ireland: 28 January 2008; 9.2; + The hotel was really comfortable, warm, with all the facilities you expect and a very nice staff who were very helpful. The restaurant is nice with a wide variety of food. This is a quiet place to stay away from the larger cities best if you have a car to travel to activites/sightseeing.; - We were not aware that this was a motel until we arrived and we got an apartment instead of a hotel room. The problem with this is that the reception desk/restaurant involves a walk outdoors but the staff were very nice and moved us to a much more comfortable room for the remainder of our stay.

Anonymous: 2 December 2007; 4.6; + Niet duur; - De kamers zijn ouderwets en niet schoon (spinnewebben, kitranden vies). Niet alle personeel spreekt goed Nederlands. Bij het ontbijt was alle brood op en werd niet spontaan aangevuld.

Miss Gentian Mowbray: 17 October 2007; 7.6; + We had a lovely weekend. The meal in the evening and breakfast were excellent as was the service. Thanks very much.; - We asked for light bulb to be changed and on return that day, nothing had happened. There were cobwebs in the bedroom and dusty radiators. The readiators were on a timer, but could have come on earlier as we got very cold before going out for the evening. We also noticed a bread roll in the corridor that was there all day, not good. We had a lovely balcony but it was a very restricted view, 4ft.

Molenaar: 23 July 2007; 6.8; + Park your car in front of your room; - Plastic coverings of the matrass makes for very hot sleepless nights. Sheets do not get changed daily if you stay more than one night. There is not much variation in the menu.

Mr Cameron Nunn: 5 July 2007; 6.6; + The family rooms were huge. The breakfast buffet well stocked. Parking is easy. Staff were friendly. Despite being on a motorway, it was quiet.; - The rooms are decorated in 70's retro before it was retro. The furnishings are looking tired and dated. Bedspreads looked lik they hadn't been washed since the 1970's either. This hotel is typical of the large chains that are built outside major cities on the motorways. It is about 10km west of Den Bosch. You would need to be travelling by car to access it.

Cary: 8 May 2007; 10; + Reception desk personnel very knowledgable and gave excellent and clear advice - writing down directions- very friendly. Also,they took care of a noise disturbance that was happening. Room was neat and clean. Restaurant was very good with a great steak dinner with many side dishes included - all good- waitress very nice. Breakfast buffet was good also - Location was very convenient as was the free parking.

Simon Evers: 16 August 2006; 3.2; + Nice bathroom with under floor heating, liked it a lot. Shame the heating was on, in mid summer when the weather was too hot and there was no air conditioning to cool down the room! Despite the above points I would come again.; - Very loud parties on Saturday night which carried on until 2.00 in the morning, very noisy and no appology from the hotel afterwards. I have rated the quality as very low due to this as you cannot expect to run a hotel where guests can't get to sleep! It wasn't a bedroom it was a room in a disco so I have rated the comfort as low. I have rated the service as low as there was no appology. No Air Conditioning, no mosquito screens, on or both is required as the location has plenty of mosquitos, in hot weather you need the windows open because there is no air conditioning system.

Anonymous Früher war's besser!: 19 October 2011; 7.4; + Freundliches Personal Grosse Zimmer; - Zimmerrenovierung steht an, viele Sachen lose oder defekt. 1 deutsprachiger Sender im TV finde ich etwas wenig. Sauberkeit: es musste wohl schnell gehen, Haare am Boden Am Sonntag morgen für Kaffe 5 Minuten anstehen, geht gar nicht! Denke eine zweite Kaffemaschine ist wünschenswert!!!

Christianus Langenberg De pr/kwali is bij van de Valk veelal in orde,bij motel Nuland niet: 26 May 2011; 4.4; + Een WMF toestel met goede koffie, vers geperst fruitsap, vriendelijke bediening tijdens diner.; - Zwakke receptie, daar ze niet uitvoeren wat je vriendelijk vraagt maar ze zijn wel erg attent of je toch wel gaat betalen!!! je creditkaart is de eerste vraag als je binnen komt voor een paar dagen . oudbollige kamers en een badkamer van de Valk onwaardig. Een kamer stonk. Om half acht begint begint een bouwvakker in een aangelegen kamer volop te boren . in een woord waardeloos.

Eric Biesma Goed prijs kwaliteit verhouding: 17 March 2011; 7.4; + goed hotel voor niet al te veel geld. Lekker eten en goed ontbijt.; - spinnewebben in de badkamer. Heb ik doorgegeven aan de receptie.

Henk Aa van der De rookkamer heeft in belangrijke mate het woongenot negatief beinvloe: 13 March 2011; 4.6; + netjes schoon en ruim. Correcte ontvangst bij binnenkomst.; - de kamer was een rokershol. verschrikkelijk als jezelf niet rookt en s'nachts vele malen wakker wordt van deze rooklucht die irriteerde op de luchtwegen. melding bij het uitchecken werd in 1ste instantie niet serieus genomen. Op mijn aandringen om een klachtenbrief werd ik wel gehoord maar het personeel gaf mij een gevoel van : dat ik lag te zeiken en moeilijk deed over wat rook. Ik heb een klacht hierover ingediend bij Van der Valk.

Verder fout gemaakt met rekening, pinnen 887 euro ipv 87 euro, wel is het teveel betaalde dezelfde avond contant terug betaald, maar wel met de woorden dat dit een les moest zijn voor mij!!

Gerrit Gedateerd hotel met vieze badkamers en matige restaurant: 3 February 2011; 4.4; + Dicht bij de snelweg.; - - Hotel is sterk verouderd en versleten, kamers kunnen een facelift gebruiken. Comfort kamer was hooguit een budget kamer. - Kamer niet echt schoon. Meubels zakte al een beetje in elkaar, lampen kapot, behang liet los. - Badkamer niet schoon, zwarte schimmels op de kitranden van het bad. - Restaurant ondanks trendy aankleding niet echt supper, ouderwetse kaart (schnitsel, biefstuk etc) en het bekende schaaltje appelmoes-met-kers....Biefstuk was wel goed gebakken, maar uiensoep was lauw, flauw en niet gegratineerd.

Anonymous Gedateerd hotel, slechte prijs kwaliteitverhouding: 19 January 2011; 4.8; + ligging, dicht bij snelweg; - kreeg niet de comfortkamer die geboekt was en ik vond de kamer niet schoon. Douche was ronduit slecht, watertemperatuur wisselde steeds.

Marianne van Tricht- Rejack Van der Valk IS en BLIJFT FANTASTISCH: 26 December 2010; 10; + Zeer vriendelijk en hulpvaardig personeel. Het is elke keer weer een fantastisch verblijf bij van der Valk. Waar men ook komt. Ik was zowel in Nederland als in Duitsland. Voor mij staat van der Valk op de eerste plaats.; - Deze keer was het zeer warm op de kamer, wel 25 graden of meer, en men kon deze niet regelen. Althans wij hebben niets gevonden.

Jan Smid Helemaal top: 29 October 2010; 7.6; + Het hotel is (zoals veel van der valk hotels) mooi aangekleed, luxe en aardig personeel. De kamer zag er netjes uit en het bed lag heel erg lekker.; - Als je in bad zat of onder de douche stond wisselde de temperatuur van het water soms ineens.
