Hotel De Oringer Marke is situated in the Odoorn, a village typical of the province of Drenthe. Odoorn is surrounded by woods and heaths where you can go for endless cycling and walking trips. The hotel offers bicycles for rent. There is a covered lockable bicycle shed and an electric charging point. Besides relaxing outside, you can also relax inside, in the intimate sauna/tylarium or in the beauty parlour. Fun for both young and old are the 6 bowling alleys that are open every day between 10:00 and 00:00 hours open. About twice a month the hotel provides entertainment on a Sunday afternoon, when (local) celebrities perform here.

Food and Drinks
Every day between 08:00 and 10:30 h. an extensive breakfast buffet is served in the breakfast room. On weekends guests can have breakfast from 08:00 to 11:30 h.
A delicious lunch is available from 12:00 to 17:00 h. in the excellent hotel restaurant, you can choose from many dishes.
Dinner is served between 17:00 and 20:00 h. The kitchen serves delicious specialties with fish, meat and game of the season, such as the chef?s guinea fowl. There are also delicious and diverse vegetarian dishes available. The cuisine is internationally oriented, the dishes are inspired by French, Italian and Oriental cuisine. In addition, several dishes that are typical for the province Drenthe are served as well, such as a Drents oerhammetje. The hotel has a large selection of wines.
Young guests will also be taken into account, they can choose from 3 different menus.

The province of Drenthe has more to offer than just a great and diverse scenery. A short distance from Hotel De Oringer Marke Odoorn are several attractions, such as 6 dolmens. If you want to find out more about megaliths you should visit the Hunebedcentrum in Borger. The Emmen Zoo is located in the heart of the city. It has a large butterfly garden.
If you want to do something else you can go to the friendly country town Assen to do some shopping or visit a museum. Just west of Assen lies the Prison Museum in Veenhuizen, and in Hoogeveen is the colourful Street Organ Museum.
