Description
Hotel De Zon in Ommen has a unique atmosphere, with its high ceilings and the stylish modern interior. The building has a rich history and has been functioning as a hotel since the end of the 19th century. In the hotel you can admire many works of Dutch artists. The hotel rooms are equipped with a shower or bath, toilet and a safe.
The outside terrace is directly situated along the 'Vecht' river. On sunny days this is a perfect spot for a cup of coffee, a lunch or dinner. For a drink you can also visit the lounge and the bar. The hotel has a Finnish sauna, solarium, Turkish steam bath and infra-red sauna, which can be used at an additional charge. There are several meeting rooms as well, which have a maximum capacity of 250 persons. It is located at 500 metres from the train station.

The breakfast buffet is available on Monday through Friday from 07:00 to 10:00 h. and from 07:30 to 10:30 h. on the weekend.
In the nostalgic 'Uncle Henrys Pub' with its beautiful stained-glass windows, you can enjoy a drink or the 2-course pub menu. In the restaurant you can choose dishes from the à la carte menu or the seasonal menu. The restaurant opens at noon and from 17:00 h. the staff serve dishes from the large menu. Regional organic products are used in the kitchen, which is inspired by French cuisine. Pets are not allowed in the restaurant.
The kitchen is open until 22:00, and until 21:30 h. on Sundays.
