A bit further down the road is the port of Ostend, where it's fun to see all the hustle and bustle. In the nearby streets Kapellestraat, Alfons Pieterslaan and Adolf Buylstraat the shopping is great; almost all shops are open on Sunday as well. For art lovers there's the art museum by the sea and the provincial museum for modern art (PMMK). Also very much worth visiting are the theme park Earth Explorer, the Japanese Garden and the James Ensor house.
