You'll find the pleasant Hotel Primula on the outskirts of Ostend, in the quiet neighbourhood Mariakerke. At the tram stop Mariakerke-Bad behind the hotel, you reach the centre within 10 minutes. A walk along the beachfront is also a great way to get to the heart of Ostend.
The years of experience of the staff has made many guests return to the hotel. Hotel guests' bicycles can be safely stored. On request, a packed lunch can be arranged, ideal for a long bike ride in the polder and along the coast.

For art lovers, there's the Kunstmuseum Aan Zee, featuring contemporary Belgian art works combined with works from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The city has a marina and an international airport as well.
