Description
The Thermae Palace Hotel Ostend was built at the end of the 19th century as a spa, but in 1933 it reopened as an exclusive hotel to give Ostend extra allure as a beach resort for the nobility and wealthy. The hotel is ideal for business meetings and parties. There are 18 rooms of various sizes for small and large groups.
The hotel is beautifully decorated in Art Deco style and offers many facilities, including a laundry, ironing and dry cleaning service, a business centre, a solarium and a gym and sauna. More than half of the rooms at the elegant hotel overlook the North Sea; the others overlook the Wellington Racetrack. The luxurious rooms have a spacious bathroom, central heating and a mini bar. The hotel also has 10 luxury suites with sea view.
Ostend is a wonderful place to unwind on one of the sandy beaches. While staying at the Thermae Palace Hotel you can go shopping at the Kapellestraat or taste fresh fish on the Visserskaai (Fishermen’s Quay). The hotel is within walking distance of the bustling downtown area and the famous Casino Kursaal.
