Hotel Dreyeroord Oosterbeek is built on an old 11 hectare country estate, which is surrounded by a beautifully designed garden with a pond, centuries old trees, and beautiful flower beds. From the terrace you will have a beautiful view of this garden. Various owners have run a hotel and tavern on this site since 1883, and they have all left their individual marks on the building and the terrain. Nowadays the hotel has been adjusted to modern standards of comfort, although its homely atmosphere and hospitality have remained unchanged. The rooms are equipped with a bath or shower, toilet, television, radio alarm clock, telephone, and a sitting area. Most rooms also have a balcony.
The hotel is located in a quiet and exclusive residential area in Oosterbeek and can be easily reached by car and public transport. Hotel Dreyeroord is within a 5-minute walking distance from railway station Oosterbeek and is approximately 5 kilometres to the west of Arnhem. The hotel has a number of bikes that guests can use for free (from Easter until the autumn school holidays). Hotel Dreyeroord is an excellent location for meetings, conferences, and seminars. An extensive breakfast buffet is available during the week from 07:00 to 10:30 h. and on the weekend from 07:30 to 11:00 h. Hotel Dreyeroord Oosterbeek had the nickname 'The White House' during World War II. It is located between the Airborne Museum and the Airborne cemetery. The Airborne Museum shows the history of the Battle of Arnhem in 1944. Burgers' Zoo and the 'Openlucht Museum' are only 10 minutes away by bike. In the 'Gelredome' stadium, the multifunctional event hall, there are many concerts of famous artists, as well as theatrical performances and soccer matches.
