Description
Hotel Irene Oostkapelle is quietly located on 'Walcheren', at a mere 1-kilometre distance from the coast and the village. Since 1984 the hotel has been managed by the same family. At the hotel one can rent a bicycle (reserve in advance) to go for a beautiful ride in the nearby woods. The beach is perfect for a nice long stroll.
The hotel rooms are equipped with a shower, toilet, telephone, radio and television. On sunny days the outside terrace is the best spot to have a drink while children can enjoy themselves on the adjacent playground. Guests can park their car for free at the hotel.
Please note: Guests can check in until 22:00 h. It is not possible to check in on Sunday.
Food and Drinks
The Dutch breakfast buffet is set from 08:30 to 10:00 h.
In the evening there is an extensive warm buffet with a nice dessert (provided there are enough guests). Guests can also visit the bar at night. On sunny days guests can sit on the outside terrace. The little ones can enjoy themselves on the playground.

- The hotel does not have a 24-hour reception. Guests can check in until 22:00 h. It is not possible to check in on Sunday.
- There is a surcharge of 2% for credit card payments.

Surroundings
Hotel Irene lies in the seaside village Oostkapelle in the Dutch province Zeeland. The beach, the dunes and the surrounding towns make it an ideal holiday destination. In this part of the 'Walcheren' region there are two nature areas: the dunes 'Oranjezon' and the woody area 'De Manteling', which also houses the biological museum 'Zeeuws Biologisch Museum' and the castle 'Kasteel Westhove'. By car one can easily reach Vlissingen and Middelburg.
