The property of Logement De Witte Klok was first built on in the early 16th century. As such, the guesthouse has a rich history. The apartments of De Witte Klok have been tastefully decorated. You have your own bathroom with a toilet, shower, or bath. There is also a kitchenette in your apartment, which has a minibar. You can do your grocery shopping at the convenience store around the corner.
Besides guesthouses, De Witte Klok also has a tea room and an exhibition gallery, which displays the works of many local artists. These artworks express the area's vast countryside. In the afternoon you can enjoy a High Tea in the tea room, or a 'Wadd'n Thee', a tea buffet whereby you can taste typically Frisian delicacies. As you bike or walk over the dykes, you will encounter various cafés, restaurants, and galeries. For the utmost relaxation you can pay a visit to 'Sauna het Bildt'.
