Hotel de Leeuw is a friendly family hotel in the beautiful Hanseatic town of Deventer. With its well equipped rooms, coffee and tea room and shop with original Dutch candy the hotel offers its guests a pleasant accommodation. The location near the River IJssel is great for hiking and cycling.

- Nice city-centre hotel, but not cheap
- - Very friendly staff who offered a cup of coffee of the house when we arrived. They also offered several brochures of what's happening in the city and nearby - Located right in the city centre
- - Two separate beds - We had hoped to spend a nice Sunday in the city, but it's dead quiet everywhere - Not the cheapest place (88 euros) - No parking at the hotel. We parked in a nearby garage for one night which cost us 16 euros. They do have a special discount with another parking garage in the city, but we missed that piece of information.

- sehr ruhig, sehr freundliche Besitzer
- sehr dünne Wände und Türen, so dass man alles im Nachbarzimmer und Flur hört, Türschloß offenbar schon seit längerem kaputt, so dass die Tür nur durch Abschließen geschlossen werden konnte, sehr spartanisches Frühstück ohne Gemüse, frische Milchprodukte, Vollkornprodukte etc.

- Geen spijt van deze keuze!
- Het ademt een gezellige sfeer uit. Er is hart voor de zaak en dat voel je. Prima bedden heerlijk.Een dikke pluim
- De afzuiger van de keuken is nogal aanwezig. De weg die langs het hotel loopt is een min punt maar gewoon je raam dicht en je slaapt prima.
