Due to its central location in the Netherlands, Postillion Hotel Amersfoort Veluwemeer can easily be reached by car. The hotel lies only a 35-minute drive away from Amsterdam and is located near the motorway A28. It is an ideal hotel for seekers of rest, despite its proximity to the motorway, because of its beautiful location on the water and its relaxing lounge area. Strandparc Nulde is located within a 5-minute walk, where guests can enjoy the beautiful private beach and all kinds of relaxing and sportive activities in summertime.

Most rooms have a view of lake 'Veluwemeer' or the marina. The comfortable rooms are equipped with a safe and satellite television. Several rooms have a minibar. The picturesque city of Harderwijk is only 11 kilometres from Postillion Hotel Amersfoort Veluwemeer. The dolphin shows in the 'Dolfinarium' also attract many visitors. Theme park Walibi World in Biddinghuizen is only 30 kilometres away if you feel like a ride in a rollercoaster. For lovers of golf there are golf courses nearby (about 25 kilometres).

The breakfast buffet is served on weekdays from 06:30 to 10:00 h. and on weekends from 07:00 to 12:00 h. Restaurant Du Lac is open between 07:00 and 22:00 h. The kitchen is internationally oriented. Café du Lac has a wonderful view of the lake. In this stylish bar snacks are served as well. The bar is open from 07:00 h. until midnight. One bad visit in 25 years
  • + The new eating menu on the terrace is good and the restaurant staff are very friendly and willing.
  • – We have been visiting this hotel regularly for 25 years ever since it was the Postiljon Nulde Putten. This time they attempted to put us in a sub-standard room with a pull off the wall bed, half built wardrobes and a bathroom with tiles that we remember from two decades ago. We found it hurtful and insulting. They moved us when we complained. Not good enough.

  • + I absolutely loved my time there, ideal location, friendly staff, great Breakfast, relaxed atmosphere. Location on edge of Lake is fantastic, the weather during our stay was also fantastic. I will be back!

I stay in hotels across Europe regularly as part of my Job and have never stayed in a hotel where there are no facilities. The only other small point was that the refurbishments that you are having done, whilst I understand are necessary probably did not need to start at 7am with the power tools! Its a good job we were on a working break and not on holiday.
