Van der Valk Hotel Rotterdam-Ridderkerk is located near the city of Rotterdam. The hotel opened its doors in 2007. When designing and building this ship-like building, hospitality, sustainability and efficiency were taken into account.

The colourful, comfortable rooms have a fresh look and include, among other things, television, air conditioning, video-on-demand, a refrigerator and a bathroom with a bath and separate shower, a hair dryer and toilet. In addition to a stylish à la carte restaurant, the hotel has a cosy pub, a bar and a 'live cooking' restaurant. Weather permitting you can enjoy the sun on the hotel?s terrace.

Surroundings

There is plenty to do and see in the city of Rotterdam. You can shop, take a boat trip through the harbour, admire the skyline or visit the famous Boijmans van Beuningen museum. Apart from some masterpieces, this museum offers a unique overview of early Dutch painting. Throughout the year many concerts, fairs and shows are held in 'Ahoy'.

Breakfast is served Monday through Friday between 06:30 and 10:00 h. and Saturday and Sunday between 08:00 and 10:30 h. The hotel bar is open from 07:00 until 01:00 h. and the restaurant is open from 11:00 until 23:00 h. The menu also offers a number of special creations by the chefs.

  • – Costly to book on the hotel website, not worth the money. You have to pay for the internet which is not very good. Same Menu! The location is poor next to the motorway nothing round about you need a car to get about approx. 40 Euro to get a taxi to centre of rotterdam.

  • + Freundliche Bedienung, reichhaltiges Frühstücksbüfett, gute Küche, schönes modernes Ambiente, Executive Zimmer mit viel Komfort, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis
  • – Strom und Heizung funktionieren nur bei Anwesenheit im Zimmer. Im Winter ist es bei längerer Abwesenheit also ungemütlich kühl im Zimmer. Da sollten die Hoteliers eine andere Lösung finden.

  • – ik heb een bloesje van mij verziekt toen ik met mijn arm kwam tegen de houten balustade op de balkon naar de kamer. die houtenleuningen zijn nl beschadig met gevolg dat het nu schade aanricht aan kleding. hoop dat ik zo duidelijk ben. de meiden van de bali heb ik wel verteld, maar die konden niets aan doen en begrijpelijk,het is een technisch probleem.
