The Bastion Hotel Rotterdam Rhoon is situated alongside the A15 motorway, with good connections to the inner city and the event centre Ahoy. The 147 rooms are divided over 87 standard and 60 deluxe rooms, together with a bar, television room and an à la carte restaurant. On top of this, the hotel has a public area with an internet terminal and laundry service.

In the rooms you will find an extensive compilation of tourist information carefully selected to prepare you for a lovely visit to the city of Rotterdam. All of the rooms are equipped with shower and toilet, television with video channel, alarm clock, desk, (free) coffee and tea making facilities, safe, minibar and analogue internet connection. The Bastion Hotel Rotterdam Rhoon is situated in the South of Rotterdam, with good connections to the event centre Ahoy. The inner city is easily reached as well, by car or public transport. Rotterdam presents an impressive architecture, which certainly justifies the classification of 'City of architecture 2007'.

Food and Drinks

The extensive breakfast buffet is served between 06:00 and 09:00 h., in weekends from 07:00 to 10:30 h. Dinner and lunch are available at the à la carte restaurant, which is open between 11:00 and 23:00 h. The menu offers a wide variety of international dishes. Lunchboxes can be prepared for early travellers. The cosy bar offers the chance to have a quick bite or refreshing drink, accompanied by the dynamics of a movie or sports night which are organised in the bar. The bar is open until 23:30 h.

  • – Deluxe room with two minature single beds, would prefer double being available. cooked breakfast was very poor, looked like it had been standing overnight was in my opinion inedible, however the selection of cold meats/bread was ok, would not pay 12.50 again, waste of money.

Good enough for 1 night stay in business trip not for holidays!

  • – I had to wait 5 minutes at reception before somebody comes, there was nobody at the bar, nobody at reception!!! Overall I find 90 euros a night very expensive for what you get, especially with breakfeast excluded.

  • – Room occupied was like a fridge when I arrived at 1900, left heating on full till 2300, room was still not comfortable, bathroom was so cold you could see your breath, by morning the room had reached a comfortable temp, The size of the bed was unaccetptable for an adult and I am only average size, I have stayed on several occasions since 2001 and feel the standards have dropped dramatically.The idea of the smoke room with the door open in reception is "laughable" the whole area smells of smoke. the restaurant staff seemed shorthanded, however the food was good when it arrived. I make this journey several times each year and will be seeking an alternative hotel in the future.

  • + de hulp van uw staf toen ik onwel werd was heel goed.De vergoeding voor het misgaan va mijn boeking was goed ontbijt en 3 drankjes extra Uw hotel in barendrecht was prima maar iets verder van onze bestemming

  • – The location of the hotel was not suitable for the Jazz Festival. The information on your webb site mentioned that there was a bus service to the hotel. This was not true, and the bus number you listed was wrong. The hotel is far too isolated.
