The New Ocean Paradise Hotel is a floating, Chinese 3-star hotel along the Maas river, in the heart of Rotterdam. In the vicinity you will find the Euromast tower and the Erasmus University. By bus, tram and metro the city centre is easy to reach. The hotel has two Oriental restaurants.
Right in the centre of Rotterdam lies the New Ocean Paradise Hotel. This floating hotel offers Chinese service and hospitality. From the hotel you can enjoy the view of the Maas river. The Euromast tower and the Erasmus University are nearby and the centre is easily accessible.
The 25 hotel rooms have an Oriental decor and they all have a bath/shower and toilet. A hair dryer is available on request. Furthermore the rooms offer a television, telephone, air conditioning, safe and coffee and tea making facilities. Most of the rooms have a view of the Maas river.
Food and Drinks
The breakfast is served from 07:30 until 10:00 h.
In the à la carte restaurant you can enjoy culinary specialities from China and the surrounding countries. The restaurant is open between 12:00 and 02:00 h.
You can also visit the Gouden Wok restaurant and order Oriental wok specialities. The restaurant is open from 17:00 until 22:00 h. For a drink guests can take a seat in the bar from 17:00 until 02:00 h.

- Pity about the carpet
- The hotel was good for us as we had a competition at Ahoy centre so we were able to walk.There was a nice park opposite for evening walks.

- The staff is helpful
- The beds are rock hard (but when asked they did have some softer thin matress to put on top of the bed) and if you have a tendency to get seasick, this is not a good hotel!..... we were very dissapointed that it did not say clear anywhere that the hotel was a boat!

- the restaurant is very good. This is inside the same building, but not a part of the hotel.
- The matrasses were too hard, almost impossible to lay on.
The heat was on, but it didn't heat the room and in the bathroom there was no heating whatsoever.
Also there was only one blanket, no extra one.
Especially the bathroom wasn't cleaned well, but also the rest wasn't very clean.
And the breakfast was horrible. They only had bread from the overn that was very dry and croissants. The croissants were frozen and then unfrozen in the microwave. Only it was still frozen inside. Then there was only coffee, no tea.
All said and done: it was horrible. I will never go back there again!!! This hotel is not worth 3 stars.

- Leuke ligging, leuke inpandige aziatische winkel.
Goed wokrestaurant. Vriendelijke bediening.

- ik zou er geen 2e keer naar toe gaan!
- de koffie was lekker!
- we moesten borg betalen voor de sleutels (handig als dat van te voren was verteld)
matrassen waren zeer hard! sommigen van ons lagen op de onderkant van een boxspring (geen matras!)
hier hadden we wat van gezegd aan de balie en ze zouden 2 matrasjes regelen maar na 1 uur was er nog niemand gekomen, weer naar hun toe gegaan en 1 kreeg een topper (van boxspring) daar moest die maar op slapen en de ander kreeg 2 dekens om op te liggen (zodat het wat minder hard zou zijn)
