Hotel Port Rotterdam

Comfortable stay

• + Neat and clean, no bad smells from rooms, no disturbance, near to metro station, good staff and breakfast.
• – I think no -ve, except should put something to approach hotel in website, like, use stairs to reach road from metro station coolhaven and then cross the bridge to find the hotel.

Good value. Would stay there again.

• + Friendly and helpful receptionist. Very good value.
• – Seems a bit remote from anything, although I just needed a reasonably-priced bed for the night fairly close to thei airport.

• + - good location - nice newly decorated room - friendly staff
• – - in some rooms maybe noise from the street - not very good breakfast, low choice

Inexpensive, but clean and safe.

• + You couldn't beat the price for the quality of the room. Easy access to Metro.
• – The internet was flaky, but it usually worked.

Pleasantly sufficient.

• + Quiet. Very clean. Rooms are small, but have everything that another hotel would have.
• – sink faucet was loose and not fixed. Breakfast items minimal. Would like fresh fruit, yogurt. Did not replace cup in bathroom. Basic furnishings, but new.

A bit of a walk but worth the savings

• + friendly service, good breakfast, hot drink automat in lobby
• – there was no hairdryer in the room but the receptionist let me use another room to dry my hair.. minus for inconvenience but plus to the service for working around it.

• + The room facing on the others Rotterdam Houses (nice view) , quite and very relaxing.

Great value for money

• + Cheap, easy to reach by public transportation, close to my destination for the following day, clean.
• – I always very much enjoy a breakfast with bacon and eggs in hotels, but alas: no bacon and eggs here. Well, what can you expect for such a low price.

Very good service, tidy rooms but noisy with window open.

• + Because i had an appointment i had to leave before breakfasttime, 8-10h. When i wanted to leave, the very friendly nightporter said i could have breakfast allready, about 7h. Very good service.
• – Because it was hot, i had to sleap with the window open on the streetside, and that was rather noisy,

Nice comfortable and spacious, clean, great value of money

Impressive hotel

• + Very friendly staff and a very luxurious hotel, especially for the price. Feels very welcoming, clean and modern. Free wifi is a definite plus. The bathrooms and the showers in particular are really modern and large.

Charmless but convenient

• + Proximity to metro. Proximity to Centre West, if that's a plus for you. Also near museum area.
• – Generally charmless hotel. Very basic breakfast.

• + Very nice room, good location, friendly staff, wifi internet.
• – Can't think of anything

• + Prima hotel voor weinig geld.
• – Personeel is niet erg mededeelzaam. Krijgt een kamernummer en dan mag je zelf zoeken. We hadden gevraagd om gewekt te worden is niet gebeurd. Waar ontbijt geserveerd wordt werd niet verteld bij inchecken.

Problem with the fixed reservations

• + Close for business in inner habour.
• – Fixed reservations is a problem in shipping. Add optional EUR 20,00 per night to provide open departure dates and prolong stay with short notice.

Adequate but very small room

• + Bathroom was good
• – Room almost too small to be functionable, to be to fit two people and two suitcases in it.

Nice standard for a nice price

• – I did not have fridge in my room, I think that's a minus

Very nice for a weekend in Rotterdam

• + Fine and clean room. Nice bathroom. Friendly service.
• – Too few electric outlets in the room. I had an electric toothbrush, a cell phone, and a computer, and had difficulty keeping them charged. The instructions for use of the safe in the room are insufficient. The safe is loose and can actually be removed very easily. I missed yoghurt at breakfast.

A comfortable night in Rotterdam

Clean and modern, but not enough breakfast.

• + It was very clean and modern.
• – The choice of breakfast things was good. But unfortunately, there was no more coffee and not enough bread/toasts for everyone. It was an unfriendly and cold atmosphere. And everyone felt left unattended. We had breakfast early in the morning not last minute! The beds were not that comfort, but if you don't plan to stay that much time, it's ok. The room was very small, but was ok for one night.
