Elisabeth Teunis Nice hotel
8.2
+ Hotel was central, could walk downtown and to the museums. Very helpful staff
- Had asked for a "garden room", but was put on the street side, which was a bit busy. Fortunately it was a holiday, so the next day it was very quiet. Breakfast was not included, and I resented having to pay 20 euro p.p. for a breakfast. There was no need for a great big buffet, but a continental breakfast option should have been offered.
laura betz A nice hotel for a weekend Rotterdam

+ The rooms in the New areas are bright, new and spacious
- The rooms in the old part or on the other end very old and the single I had was really small
J. Burchard Great location, nice room
8.2
+ friendly staff free room upgrade nice room (we had a nice view) secure parking space
- expensive breakfast and parking windows can't be opened
DW Precise quality and friendliness
8.8
+ The most polite and overtly helpful staff you could imagine. We have an 11 month old, and they arranged for a cot, and to have a ground floor room for push chair access which they got ready for us within half an our of our "4 hour early" arrival. The staff recommended good areas for eating and shopping. They even bought a gift pack in for our son.... with bib, toy, and spoon. Considering we were in the hotel for one night, all the staff made every effort to make us feel welcome. Check in and out was efficient, and they simply asked us if we had incurred any extra charges, rather then fuss about checking the mini bar etc.
- If i have to write a minus point its that the room service menu could have been a little bit more varied.
jason fowler Enjoyed every minute
9.4
+ Great location within walking distance of train station, museum quarter, metro and shopping centre. Worth upgrading to executive rooms
- Wish they had a swimming pool!
Peter Andersson
6.6
+ Friendly and service-minded staff
- Worn room and badly functioning bathroom (faulty design). Breakfast - cheese and coldcut prepared too far in advance. One dead fly on a juice pincer tray.
Paul Carden Great Hotel for Business Purposes.
7.8
+ Great Breakfast
- Radiator could not be ajusted to a reasonable temperature (Not warm enough).
Pete Nice hotel but could benefit from this feedback.
7.6
+ Some of the staff were helpful and polite. Jose was extremely helpful as was the doorman working on the Friday lunchtime. The hotel was nice and comfortable.
- I was a business traveller so the hotel was mainly a place to sleep and shower bit the following things were annoying. There was an inflexibility but these were minor if slightly irritating issues. For example, when asking about late check out we were told extremely bluntly 12 noon or an extra 50 Euro's per hour thereafter. It's not the amount but the way it was said. Very unfriendly. This was the Saturday night staff. Approx 23oo hours. Then on Sunday evening at approx 1830 hours, I asked if it was ok to take a paper from the big pile of newspapers which were clearly not going to be read and prob placed in the bin later to be told again, quite bluntly I could "borrow it" but must return it. This was one of 5 copies of the Sunday times they had sitting there. I do a lot of business with the Dutch and am used to things being lost in translation but this was a case of "it is not what you do but the way that you do it. A tiny point that feels almost petty. The shower was a nightmare! Too hot, too cold but nothing in between otherwise good.
Stephen Lonsdale Far from the best hotel you will ever stay in.
3.8
+ I am afraid that there aren't many..... Restuarant was good, and that is about it
- Room's were small, outdated, noisy and ill equiped. I travel a lot and this was definatly at the lower end of the market. Do not think I will be revisiting.
Anonymous Wonderful stay at the Bilderberg Parkhotel
9.0
+ The check-in and registration was very quickly done with the highest level of professionalism and courtesy. The daily cleaning of the hotel room was very well done. I would certainly return to the hotel when I next visit Rotterdam.
- The terrace was shut to guests (at least on the Sunday that I requested access) and that denied the guests of strolling in the teracce garden which looked so inviting.
david If you like fresh air do not book this hotel
6.2
+ Good location
- windows can not be opened in the rooms in the tower (only A/C), late checkout expensive
Heidi Santtila Excellent stay over weekend
10
+ Central location, spacious room, competitive price
Adrian Mackaay Nice hotel
8.4
+ Nice clean hotel right in the center. Very helpful staff.
M Adams Great hotel for quality and location

+ Staff were both helpful and friendly. Although there was a mixup with my booking it was managed calmly. The reception desk staff ae particularly good.
Ibolya Great view of Rotterdam
9.8
+ very good location, nice view, large room, good breakfast

Ike Overall good stay, plan to return again
8.8
+ Received room upgrade as hotel was not too busy , thsi was appreciated.
- As a member opf NorthWest airlines mileage plan it seems to always be a hassle to get my point credited to my membership. NWA does not issue a hard card but just a paper one noting my membership but rarely do I receive the points for my stay.
Stephen Browne Top marks again.
10
+ A very enjoyable stay, again, in a fantastic hotel in the heart of Rotterdam. If there were an 11/10, it would merrit it.
Nicola Testoni Satisfied guest
8.6
+ Well kept rear garage Large bathroom even in single room Quiet and comfortable environment
- No blind at the window Room was a little bit colder than usual Breakfast was quite expensive
Natalie & I.C.J. We had a unforgetable & very nice stay @ the Bilderberg Park Hotel,
7.4
+ Very friendly approche (benadering)at the hotel during check-in and check-out. Breakfast was good & nice, our room was nice, but had to walk an end to get there (stairs going down) a bit anoying because of the logages.
- Down-payment amount (Borg)that was not great, because it makes the hotel-price very high and it's only necesary if you are going to make use of mini-bar and extra things, which is not valid for our stay at the hotel.

7.2
+ It was great time . thanx for everythink
Andres Very good stay
9.6
+ Got an excellent executive room for a basic rate.
richard Summer visit
8.2
+ Confortable, good service, not terribly expensive.
Patrick
7.2
+ Nice outside terras. Large variaty at breakfast.
- I've booked a total of 4 rooms at different names. One of them was charged for his breakfast although included. I've been in the business myself for 8 years. I don't know if they did this on purpose or not, but it is something to look into. Give the hotel a bad name. And first timers for sure don't come back.
Anonymous
5.6
+ Breakfast is excellent but too pricy at 21.00 Euros per person.
- On arrival after lunchtime room was not yet ready, it should take another 5-10 minutes I was told instead it was 45 minutes and I had to rush to make an appoitment . On leaving hotel requested a taxi with front desk. It should take again 5- 10 miunutes ,half an hour later had to re request another taxi.
Wolfram
5.0
+ location is good and service is very friendly, bathroom very clean and friendly
- room was rather small and poorly illuminated in the bar I had the worst pizza of my life (old, dry, took nearly an hour to get it served)
ILONA MENZEL
9.8
+ The beds and bedding are superior quality and the staff is very accommodating
- it would be convenient to have some rooms ready early in the morning to accommodate the early check in if shower facilities, etc are required
Tim Jensen
7.4
+ The hotel is nice and quit and loction is good.
- It will be a great help if the hotel keep prefeered parking space for the hotel guest. In the last three stays have there not been any parking on the hotel. The parking is occupied by other than the hotel guest, due to the parking is free again after midnight.
Andres
8.6
+ Very friendly staff and excellent breakfast.
- Too many smooking rooms, I ended up in a smooking room that was not smelling too good.
claire
9.0
+ All staff were very friendly and helpful and made our stay very pleascent our meal in the restaurant was wonderful.
- When we checked out we were charged ¤21 each for breakfast on the Sat Morning but on confirmation ot stated that when staying in a Tower Delux room breakfast would be ¤15 per head if staying on a Friday or Sat I pointed this out as i did not have confirmation but receptionist knew nothing about it so we were charged the ¤21 each.

6.2
+ polite and helpful staff at the reception.
- hotel needs refurbishing. rooms are fairly small. in the hotel bar when we ordered 2 glasses of Champagne one glass of Laurent Perrier was topped up with CAVA as the bartender ( a lady) did not feel like opening a new bottle of Laurent Perrier. I noticed this and when mentioning this the lady looked rather offended than embarassed. We received 2 new glasses however poored out in front of us. This incident I have never experienced nor seen in any hotel in the world and i am staying at least 90 days per year in hotels.

6.8
+ Restaurant 70 has good food. Location of hotel is good. Breakfast quality is good.
- Housekeeping was found to lay the fresh towels on the floor, the hotel management initially did not see much wrong with that and I had to explain a few times that this was an unhygienic practice. To get fresh coffee at breakfast is difficult. The witresses except the Polish lady and cute blond young girl, show their annoyance having to get you a fresh coffee (from machine). When you ask staff during breakfast for something they do not acknowledge which leaves you in doubt if they heard you and will do as you requested. I give them a minus for service during breakfast except the two persons mentioned. Approach front desk with a request and 'no' is readily on their lips. The hotel has to computers with swiss telecom as srevice provider. THe frontdesk had no proper administraion of proper pass words. It went by trial and error and it took me 1/2 hour just to log on and print a document. Restaurant 70 is not open for lunch so if you have guests , you can only have luch at the bar which has limited menu. The room I booked was very tiny and had no aircon. I had to upgrade the secon day to larger room with aircon. Since the frdge in my room did not have a freeze section and since I wanted to bring some perishables to Singapore I asked the front desk to store some cool elements in the kitchen's main freezer. When I checked out and asked for cool elements I was told that the elements had been put in cooling section. So I had a big problem managing the transport of the persishables I had to bring home. Hotel does not have an inherent desire to please and satisfy customers. Everything is routine, there are no or insuficient checks and balances. Parking or the absence thereof.

+ When we arrived early in the morning, a room was made available to us. We appreciated this very much.

6.4
+ Location Bedroom comfort, hygiene & service at reception was very good, but breakfast room was poor, hence average assessment.
- I was charged for booking via internet. Breakfast restaurant service, hygiene and comfort were poor - no clean tables, food and drinks were running out and there was not enough staff.
Brian
6.2
+ Staff very friendly
- 22 Euro for 24 hour internet access (no other option)is ridiculous when you only want to use for perhaps 1 or 2 hours. This is the same as 1 month subscription at home. Toilet bowl was stained brown below the water line (same both rooms I stayed in) otherwise room was very clean.
Charles
6.0
+ Staff were very helpful
- Hotel website does not mention that there is no A/C for a Garden Room so it never occured to me there would not be A/C. Especially as this hotel has just been upgraded and it is 4 star. I had to upgrade to an A/C room at an extra 20 Euro which I found annoying.

+ Fantastic price, comfort, room, location, bathroom everything and we had a balcony in our garden room why go anywhere else.

+ Location is idela dn breakfast is excellent as is the service in the restaurant.
- In the bathroom the counter for the sink is dangerous close to the toilet. If one intuitive tries to sit down on the toilet it would be easy to bang your forehgead on the sink counter corner. I am relatively short but a tall person coudl easily end up with a concussion. Point 2. I wanted to get my stay points credited to my North West Airlines points program and tried to give my number to the desk attendent and was told very abruptly no without actual card they would not credit my points program. I told them I can shwo them the number on my flgith ticket and again he just reiterated no , not without actual card.

6.8
+ Near to the museums, easy access from the station.
- The the flow of hot water is very poor. The shower is difficult to use, they don't help you to carry the baggage. I forgot there my glasses, and sent them a fax message, but no reply. A receptionist doesn't know the way to talk to the guest. I was quite unhappy.
Eric Santoni-Rugiu
8.2
+ The personnel was very professional, kind and helpful. For instance I was immediately given a new rooom for non-smokers after notifying the receptionist of the problem with bad smoke-smell in the room I received at the check-in. Excellent food in the restaurant and at breakfast. Walking distance to city center, train station and Erasmus bridge
- The first room I was assigned at the check-in was for smokers and smelled terribly of smoke, despite I requested a room for non-smokers when I booked on-line. The mirror in the bathroom was not above the sink but almost besides it, which made shaving a bit more laborious than usual
