Within a half hour drive from Amsterdam, in National Park Zuid-Kennemerland between age-old trees and lovely ponds lies the magnificent Landgoed Duin & Kruidberg.
In this marvellous countryhouse with English landscape garden and a rich history, guests have been welcomed here with the most attention for over 60 years. Jacob Theodoor and Annie Cremer bought the estate in 1895, but had a completely new countryhouse built at the beginning of the 20th century. This couple started the tradition of receiving guests at their estate and since 1948 it has been a hotel.
Nowadays guests can still thoroughly enjoy themselves. Get spoiled and enjoy the luxurious facilities and the stunning and woody surroundings. The beautiful nature offers endless possibilities to pass your time, but also in the arts, culture and architecture sphere there's much to experience. Landgoed Duin & Kruidberg is situated between shopping city Haarlem, the beach of Zandvoort, IJmuiden and Beverwijk, but also Alkmaar with its world famous cheese market can be reached within 30 car minutes. Trainstation Santpoort-Noord is just a 6 minute walk away.

Obviously all hotel rooms are furnished very comfortably. The Patio rooms are situated in a hotel wing adjecent to the countryhouse and are ery suitable for a lovely weekend. The Superior rooms are in the countryhouse itself and are all uniquely furnished. These rooms feature very luxurious fabrics and are in a different price range.
On request you can order the following items via the remarks field of your booking: dinner in Brasserie DenK, a rental bicycle, a bottle of wine or champagne or flowers in your room.
Food and Drinks
The extensive breakfast buffet is served from Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 10:00 h. and in the weekend from 08:00 to 11:00 h.
Be sure to have dinner in 'De vrienden van Jacob' restaurant and spoil yourself ultimately. All your senses will be stimulated in this restaurant, which has had a Michelin star since 2005.
Brasserie DenK with its open kitchen serves honest and classical regional and seasonal dishes with a modern touch. See with your own eyes how the daily fresh ingredients are almost magically turned into the tastiest dishes.

The vast recreation area Spaarnwoude is just 3 kilometers away. In these natural and peaceful surroundings you can ride horseback and canoe to your heart's content and even skiing is one of the possibilities here. On one of the many golf courses in the area you can work on your handicap.
