Hotel Albion is a cosy family hotel in Scheveningen, which is just 100 metres away from the beach, the pier, the casino, the Circustheater and the lively boulevard. Den Haag is also easy to reach by tram or bus, which depart from near the hotel. The location is therefore ideal for both a holiday as well as a business stay. In Den Haag you can find a large selection of shops as well as stately buildings and numerous fun attractions. Enjoy a helicopter view of The Netherlands in Madurodam, take a look at the premises of the Dutch parliament Binnenhof, go on a stroll along the royal palace Paleis Noordeinde and the Hofvijver pond, or visit the Mauritshuis, a museum with a collection of artists such as Vermeer.

Surroundings

From Hotel Albion it is just a 100 metre walk to the beach. A stroll along the shore or over the boulevard is a perfect way to unwind. Nearby you can see a musical at the Circus Theater or enjoy a drink in one of the bars at the boulevard.

Food and Drinks

In the morning there is an extensive breakfast buffet in the comfortable restaurant. From Monday to Friday you can have breakfast between 07:30 and 10:00 h. and at weekends between 09:00 and 11:00 h. For lunch and dinner you can visit one of the numerous restaurants in Scheveningen.

  • – Kamer was te klein voor 2 personen (had een double room gereserveerd). 1 stoel, bed aan de muur (anders geen ruimte). Toilet Kon alleen gebruikt worden met Open deur. Kleine single room waar een twee persoonsbed is neergezet.

  • – Got a room in multistorey house in another side of the street from reception/ restaurant. We booked a double room, got a twin room with 2 double beds. We were limited to our activities in the room due to the fact that the room was for 4, but not for 2 persons.

Good friendly professional hotel with very good service and breakfast
  • + The breakfast was very good. Not only the food, the drinks, the many choices, but also the service. Very friendly, generous, nice. The restaurant where breakfast is served is nice, modern and cosy at the same time. We had the room for 5 persons: large, great bathroom, very good. Distance from nice restaurants, the beach/boulevard is 5 till 15 minute walk.

Upon checking in, I was told I could have breakfast earlier than scheduled (as I had early meetings), but there was no breakfast at the time I was told nor anyone to talk to. This happened on both days of my stay, and I had to buy food outside. 3. There is no service to speak of/to.
