Hotel Mimosa is a friendly family-run hotel in the centre of Scheveningen, the most popular beach town in The Netherlands. This place will appeal to both lovers of nature and culture. Besides the beach, sea, and dunes, the cities of Den Haag (The Hague) and Delft are also very close by.

Hotel Mimosa is a cosy 2-star hotel with 23 rooms, among which are single, double, and triple rooms. The hotel is located in two old mansions with a classical façade. The rooms are simple, yet stylishly decorated, with light colours. The beach, the sea, the dunes, and a lovely stretch of woods are all within walking distance from the hotel. The Circus Theatre is just around the corner, and both Den Haag and Delft are great cities to pay a visit to. The rooms of Hotel Mimosa are all equipped with a private bathroom with a shower and toilet. Most of the rooms have a private balcony. On bright days you may enjoy the sun and quiet in the hotel's French-styled patio.

Moreover, Hotel Mimosa also boasts an excellent location for business travellers. Within 10 minutes from the hotel guest may find all the embassies, many international organizations, multinationals, and the Dutch Congress Centre.

Good value hotel close to coast and Kurhaus

Close to coast and conference hotel. Good range of food for breakfast (included in price when I was there). Friendly and helpful staff, room cleaned well every day, I got breakfast early on last day because of my timetable which did not cause problems. Flat screen TV in room with good range of channels.

Taxi tried to take me to Rembrandtstraat (but hotel is very close to number 9 tram that goes straight to central station). As with many Dutch houses, stairs are steep and curved with no lift, so take care.

Like scaling a cliff getting up the stairs to the first floor - no lift obviously. Dirty balcony with tatty sheds to feast your eyes upon. Parking impossible in the street unless you put in 4 euros every 2 hours until midnight!

Really wonderful breakfast, which almost made us forget a really bad night's sleep!

Room was in souterrain - mold on the walls of the bathroom, to which 2 of us are allergic. Souterrain location also resulted in a lot of noise coming into the room, particularly as the window vents appeared locked into an "open" position.

Atemberaubendes Frühstück inklusive!

Die Räume sind wirklich winzig. Im Standard Doppelzimmer betrug der Abstand zwischen den beiden Betten 15cm !!! Die imensen Parkgebühren vor der Tür, kein Hotelparkplatz. Nur "Verbilligtes Parkticket" für 8,50€ pro Tag!

Klein maar fijn.

Een heerlijk ontbijt. Vriendelijke bediening. Parkeren voor de deur. Koffie, thee en chocomel op de kamer.

Zéér kleine douche/toilet ruimte. Jammer dat er geen bar / gezamelijke ruimte in het hotel is, waar je nog even een afzakkertje zou kunnen nemen eventueel met andere gasten.

Goed hotel in Scheveningen

Mede namens de eigenaar heb ik besloten om toch te komen, en de treinen reden gelukkig i.v.m sneeuwval op Zaterdag 9-1-2010.(8-1 eerst geannuleerd i.v.m sneeuw) Geen spijt van ,dat ik dit aanbod heb aangenomen;dit wordt mijn vaste adres voor schouwburgbezoeken in Den Haag.

- heerlijke bedden - uitstekend ontbijt - gastvrij onthaal - vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel - goedkoop hotel

Gezamenlijke douche leek op verbouwde 'muurkast'. Dochter van 13 kon niet douchen omdat er nergens een schap of haken waren waar ze haar spullen neer kon leggen. Daarnaast liep ook nog eens het douchewater heel langzaam weg. Spullen op de grond leggen was dus ook geen optie. Mijn dochter heeft dus 2 dagen niet kunnen douchen.

Redelijke prijs, dichtbij zee, heerlijk ontbijt met heel, heel veel keus, gewoon/gewoon (houden wij wel van), sympathieke mensen.

Kamer niet gedaan. En ben ergens allergisch voor, wat ALLEEN in dat hotel is. Geen idee wat het is, maar ik ben 2 ochtenden lang benauwd gebleven en pas na een pilletje bij de drogist gehaald en na een uur weer normaal geworden. (Ik vermoed iets met dons???) En verder wel wat klein, maar is niet zo heel erg. Wat ik het rotste vond, was die toeristenbelasting. Beter is bij de prijs in. Ik had het niet gezien, en voelde naar... Ook was oncomfortabel w.b. trap en koffers sjouwen.
