Surroundings
Hotel Mimosa lies in the vibrant centre of Scheveningen. From the hotel you may easily walk to the promenade of Scheveningen, to the famous spa the Kurhaus, or along the beach. For some entertainment you will only have to walk to the Circus Theatre around the corner. If you wish to enjoy nature, there are great opportunities for walking or biking in the hotel's surroundings. Also, guests can easily pay a visit to Den Haag or Delft to enjoy the more cultural attrractions there.
Food and Drinks
In the morning the hotel serves an extensive breakfast buffet in the traditional Dutch breakfast area. Every morning you may enjoy fresh rolls and fresh croissants. The hotel also serves yoghurt and fresh fruits. From Monday to Friday you can have breakfast from 07:00 to 10:00 and in the weekend from 08:30 to 10:30 h. After consultation with the hotel it is also possible to have breakfast at different times. The hotel does not have its own restaurant but in Scheveningen and Den Haag there are countless possibilities for dinner.

The place is excellent. The people working in the hotel were very friendly and polite. The location is unbeatable and the breakfast is prepare with care.
*my tipthe trolley number 9 arrives from the train station to the circus theatre that is about 1 minutes far walking to the hotel.

People who works in the hotel are doing maximum for the clients to be happy. Nobody disturb me during my stay. room was very little but clean. I didn´t expect breakfast that good for that small price...there was choice of everything,and even fresh fruits (in the winter). I already try other 3hotels arround,but i will defenetly go back to this one.

Breakfast at Hotel Mimosa was absolutely magnificent: wide choice of fresh fruit, sweet and salty bites and spreads, teas and coffee - all in a nicely decorated inner courtyard. Worthy of a 5 star hotel!

The room could have done with more thorough cleaning (e.g. carpets and ceiling) to give it a more polished look. We got a room at the top of (typically Dutch) steep stairs - would have been nice to have the choice of a more accessible room.

Cleanness, a very good breakfast, vicinity to transport, beach and entertainment facilities, friendly staff (except when I was late for breakfast and could not have it. That is an area where staff attitude could have been better i.e. more tolerant).

As far as minus points are concerned, there is little that the management can do to improve the situation. Namely, the biggest fault of this hotel - in my view - is the lack of space
- very small rooms and toilets, extremely narrow staircase etc.

I booked a single room with a shared bathroom and I was offered a tripple room with ensuite bathroom - great!. The room had a kettle with cups and a choice of tea, etc. A few mins away from the beach, so that I managed to catch a sunset on the beach. Fantastic breakfast!! A lot of brochures etc in the hotel and on your breakfast table, incl.the map of the Hague, so that you know what are your options in the town.
