Description

The Noordzee Hotel Scheveningen lies at 50 metres distance from the sea and beach. This welcoming and affordable hotel is excellently suited for both tourists and business travellers. The Circus Theatre, Holland Casino, and 'Madurodam' are all within walking distance. The centre of The Hague can be easily reached by bus, tram, and car.

On the highest point of Scheveningen, on the coast, stands the Noordzee Hotel. The lively promenade of Scheveningen is a great place to just stroll around, and can be found right behind the hotel. As you walk through the front door, you will receive a warm welcome from the friendly hotel staff. All rooms are equipped with a bathroom with a shower and toilet, a television, a telephone, and a radio. Every room also has a satellite connection and wireless Internet.

Noordzee Hotel Scheveningen also has a lovely outdoor café where you may have a seat on sunny days. If the weather's not that great, there are plenty of things to do inside the hotel as well. The bar and lounge area has a pool table and a darts board. In the hotel you can also organise business or festive meetings, like weddings, dinners, receptions, or conferences. The conference rooms are equipped with all the necessary facilities; the maximum capacity is 90 seats.

The breakfast buffet is served every morning in the hotel restaurant.
For a nice dinner, you are also welcome here to enjoy the kitchen's carefully prepared specialities, until 21:30 h. After dinner the bar/lounge is the perfect place for a nice drink and some relaxation. There is a darts board and a pool table that guests can use. The bar staff will be at your service until 03:00 h.
Those who like to go out to eat will find plenty of choices on the promenade of Scheveningen. The many excellent restaurants with an international cuisine and fish specialities will not let you down.

Within 5 minutes walking distance you may see a musical in the (more than) 100 year old Circus Theatre. The casino, cinema, and Sea Life aquarium are also less than 5 minutes away on foot. Sea Life is fun for the old and the young; the North Sea and its inhabitants are shown here in a sea aquarium. As you walk among the sharks and rays you may get a good idea of life beneath the sea level.

The room was in OK condition, clean, comfortable, it had wifi, toiletries, a nice bathroom and comfortable bed. It was good value for money and located very close to a tram stop. The service was good.

The common areas of the hotel are in bad condition, smell very strongly of smoke, and I had the impression that many of the clients live their permanently. Although my stay was fine, I didn't feel safe leaving my valuables in the room.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The wireless internat is a big plus but not all rooms have it therefore you ahve to use it in the bar. If you want to be close to the beach the location is parfect, some rooms even have direct view to the beach. Tram stops are really close. Felt safe even if I was a girl traveling alone.

Unfortunately, if you want to go to the Hague it takes at least 25-30 minutes by tram, and really do not book this hotel if you have to go in the Delft region ..it's more than 45 min with the tram.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast is a generous buffet (though I was wokring too hard to get there more than once); there is free internet access 24/7 on two computers in the reception area, as well as WIFI access in some rooms; the bathroom and towels were pristine and the shower hot and powerful.

The doors are very thin, so during Friday and Saturday nights people returning from lively evenings out could be heard loudly at 3 o'clock in the morning. The computers are located in a smoking area.

Perfecte lokatie, vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.

Parkeren was wat lastig, hoewel een dagkaart mogelijk was, maar dat was voor onze plannen niet handig. Bij het zwarte pad op een kwartiertje loopafstand wel gratis kunnen parkeren (is in de zomer niet gratis).
