Surroundings
Due to its seaside location, the Strandhotel Scheveningen is an excellent starting point for a bicycle ride or a walk through the dunes. The centre of Scheveningen lies within 5 to 10 minutes walking distance, such as the nightlife venues at the Gevers Deynootplein, the Casino, and the Circus theatre. The cities of The Hague and Delft can be easily reached by tram.

On weekdays guests can enjoy the hotel's breakfast buffet from 07:30 to 10:00 h. and on the weekend from 08:30 to 10:30 h. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but you can find plenty of restaurants, bars and beach pavillions along the boulevard of Scheveningen.

pleasent room,view to the sea very nice,breakfast was plentiful and good.

after being there a week and seeing the staff daily, we were asked if we were another family, obviously they dont really note who their guests are.The view from the room was marred by a white trash bin directly outside our window on the terrace. when booking it was noted there was a terrace that was usable, on asking the terrace was private we were told.During our stay,on the wednesday there were building works taking place which meant drilling and banging all day, when asked when it would stop they said 4pm but would start again the following day.There was no appology for this inconvenience and if they want to do building works when they have guests they might at least give the guest the choice to book or not.
