citizenM Amsterdam Airport is a luxurious and affordable hotel close to the terminals and the train station of Schiphol. You can reach the hotel via the covered foot path from terminal 3. By train the city centre of Amsterdam can be reached 24 hours a day in just 20 minutes.

This first hotel in the new citizenM hotel chain has rooms that are all equipped with such luxurious amenities as a king-size bed, LCD television, climate control, free wireless internet and a rain shower. With the Philips Moodpad guests can change the colour and the temperature in the room.

In the living rooms, designed by Vitra, you can watch television and enjoy a drink or snack. Working space is available as well with several public computers. Guests can make free use of wireless internet. City guides, design books and travel accessories are available in canteenM.

The hotel has won 4 prizes at the European Sleep Event, including European Design hotel of the year 2008!

Food and Drinks

At any time guests can visit canteenM. An à la carte breakfast is availabe here 24 hours a day. The hotel's own baristas will create a good cup of coffee. You can also order nice dishes such as sushi, wraps, snacks and soup. Later in the day canteenM offers draft beers, cocktails and champagnePlease note: the price for the à la carte breakfast is approximately €10 depending on what you order.

Internet

In the hotel guests can make free use of wireless internet. The computers in de living rooms are also available for free.

Hotel citizenM Amsterdam Airport has an ideal location for a stay at Schiphol. At the nearby train station you can catch a direct train to Amsterdam centre, the RAI Exhibition centre and the WTC. The Dutch capital offers nice shopping streets and beautiful monumental buildings along the canals. Museums such as the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum house several famous paintings. In the Vondelpark and the city district Jordaan you can enjoy a nice walk.

Anonymous Modern affordable comfort for the traveller: 26 October 2011; 10; + CitizenM was everything and more that was advertised. I arrived early morning after an overnight flight and for a small fee was able to check in right away. In the middle of night I was very hungry and was able to buy a few things available at the bar. wonderfully comfortable accommodation with everything a traveller needs for a short stay.

Anonymous Unexpected pleasant experience at an airport hotel: 4 October 2011; 8.0; + impressive design , humourous, the best bed i have ever had in an hotel, no noise at all from the airport... small room where they managed to fit just anything needed. Not fancy in the size, but well researched and thought through for the design and comfort.; - service, what service ? was there any human being actually working there ? Food .... well i guess you have to cope with it no zebra crossing or whatever when you come from the airport ... that's dangerous...

The staff was friendly when I checked in, which was a plus! The location was walking distance to the airport and I liked that! My overall experience was lovely, but I did find some dirty spots on the toilet which bothered me! You could definitly use more DETAILED cleaning!

Friendly staff greeted you - easy to find from the hotel (just a few minutes walk) and convenient for taking the train into the city. Made our 20 hour layover an adventure - we got to see Amsterdam and had great accommodations.; - The shower was a little hard to figure out - only because our door would not stay shut (a must to have it work) ... but we were tired (could have been a tad confused) ...but it provided us with a great laugh. REALLY enjoyed the hotel and will stay again!

David Wilson Great for a one night stay, or longer of travelling alone: 6 August 2011; 8.4; + Very quiet inside, wonderfuly comfortable bed, all mod cons, fantastic for one night stay when arriving or departing from Schipol airport; - Room was very small, no where to open cases or leave clothes, room would be better for just one person. The shower cubicle is clear glass, no privicay, if obscured like toilet it would be better.
