Not an airport terminal hotel.

Just to be clear: this hotel is NOT in walking distance from the terminal, as the hotels.nl description would have you believe. It is about a kilometre away. By the time you realize you've been deceived, it is too late, and you will be huffing down the side of the road carrying your luggage. If you must use this hotel, wait for the shuttle bus. The "soundproof rooms" only protect you from noise outside the hotel. The walls are thin and you'll hear doors slamming from about 6am. The room is small but adequate. Still, at 250 euros, this hotel is an extremely bad deal, without the convenience of an in-terminal airport. Factor in another 26 euros for breakfast, and you're certain to make another choice.

One night at Schiphol

The Sheraton is even closer - one has to walk a few hundred meters for this one and find it beyond the parking lot. The rooms are small, but fine, as is the entrance hall and restaurant. But it all feels a bit drab and old. Most annoying: when you want to watch TV, it constantly tries to convince you to watch some pay channel (you can guess what kind). I guess, for staying near the airport and waiting for your flight, its fine. I slept well and quiet, everything was clean etc..

the receptionist did not have the email from you the receptionist did not have the email from you advising her about our booking. She was not very helpful but allowed us to use the hotel computer to access our email and the reservation code. Even then she commented that the code should start with cc or something. Racist was my own opinion

Location (via covered walkway to the check in desks at Schiphol) is excellent (although the Sheraton is much closer to Schiphol Plaza). Shopping nearby.
Relatively expensive if one just wants to go there to spend the night before flying. Breakfast is overpriced at more than 26 euro per person.

Good location
Five euros per hour parking after paying 230 euros for one night stay is excessive.Breakfast (buffet)for 25 euros each is also excessive. I had a total of 275.02 euros for one night stay which included 2.1 hrs parking and a light breakfast. My credit card charged me $455.00 for this extremely overpriced one night stay. I am still trying to figure out what the problem with my billing is. Hilton must be for the rich and not the average traveler. I will not recommend the Hilton to any of my friends.

Location close to Airport
This hotel is really overpriced. The rooms are average and not really special for its price. One notices this is a business hotel, with little ambiance. This hotel needs a refurbishment soon. The price for breakfast is insane - one would expect this to be part of the roomrate. We'll not stay here again, but select a hotel a bit further from the Airport.

Very convenient for early morning flights out of Schiphol. Very comfortable and quiet. Walking distance to the airport (a shuttle bus is also available).
For a final destination in the Netherlands, the airport location isn't the most convenient. However, this year there was a frequent direct bus from Schiphol to Keukenhof and there has always been easy access to train service.

The plus points ar your hotel are, that the room maids do not disturb us if we are still sleeping, but when we are returning everything is clean and even towels are changed without our notification for diong it.
In my opinion the usual TV channels should be for free. Of course you could maintain the charges for some extras like movies and music offered, but comparing to other hotels this feature was not a good surprise.

Beetje ouderwetse kamer, kan wel een update gebruiken. Het was nogal warm in de kamer, hoewel het buiten niet heel warm weer was. Slechte verlichting. Wel een minibar maar geen wijnglazen e.d. Er waren maar twee glaasjes. 2p kamer, maar slechts 1 paar slippers aanwezig. Eten in restaurant was redelijk (veel prefab-producten).

Verwarming deed het (nog) niet bij 13 O celcius. Bij reclamatie ontvingen wij een kleine elec. kachel die de kamer ook niet verwarmde. Zou te maken hebben omdat wij aan het einde van een vleugel verbleven.

Efficiente check-in (15:00) en check-out (3:00). Bed voor onze dochter (3) stond keurig klaar. Geen extra kosten ter plekke. Kamer was stil, schoon en netjes, badkamer vrij nieuw. Wij hebben geen oude en muffe boel aangetroffen (zoals in enkele andere reviews is te lezen). Park & Fly arrangement is zeer goede deal als je zoals ons 2 weken met vakantie gaat. Je overnacht dan voor plm. 80 euro, want de rest was je anders toch kwijt voor een parkeerplaats op P3. Echter, je parkeert nu praktisch naast de terminal, bij het Hilton. Niet alleen handig voor de heenweg maar ook voor de terugweg.

wij hadden 1 overnachting vanwege het vroege vertrek vliegtuig, konden geen gebruik maken van de eventuele faciliteiten van het hotel, pluspunten zullen er vast wel zijn, waaronder het ontvangst.
omdat de airco zoveel lawaai maakten en de ramen niet open konden was het benauwd in de kleine kamer
