The NH Schiphol Airport is a luxurious 4-star hotel near the A4 motorway. The hotel is located in the business district, which surrounds Schiphol and therefore easy to reach by car. In case you are travelling by public transport, you can use the huttle bus service, which takes you to and from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport between 06:00 h. and midnight. The shuttle bus leaves every 30 minutes in both directions. The ride from Schiphol to the hotel is free of charge and the ride from the hotel to Schiphol costs €5 per person. From Schiphol you can reach the RAI conference centre and the World Trade Centre within 15 minutes by train and Amsterdam Central Station is just 20 minutes away. Those who love flowers will find everything to their heart?s desire in the world famous Keukenhof or they can visit the flower auction in Aalsmeer, both these attractions are nearby.

The NH Schiphol Airport hotel is easy to reach, has an excellent location and a professional staff. This combination makes the hotel a perfect place for conferences, training sessions and events. The 18 multifunctional conference rooms have a maximum capacity for up to 500 people.

The rooms in the hotel are equipped with facilitites such as a bathroom with a shower and toilet, wireless Internet and (pay) TV. During your stay you can make free use of the sports centre which offers a sauna, a Turkish steam bath, a solarium, fitness equipment and squash and tennis courts.

'Restaurant Gusto' is located on the hotel's ground floor and offers an extensive breakfast buffet which is available at 05:30 h. every morning, which is just perfect for the early birds. Between 12:00 and 14:30 h. you have a wide choice from either the a la carte lunch or a lunch buffet. A young team of professional chefs cooks with fresh seasonal products. On the menu you will find dishes that are inspired by French cuisine with an international twist. The restaurant is open from Monday through Thursday between 18:00 and 22:00 h. Coffee corner 'The Meeting Point' is the right spot for a business meeting in an informal environment. The small menu offers international lunch and dinner dishes. This bar is open from 08:30 to 23:00 h.

In the hotel rooms you can use wireless Internet at a charge. There are also 2 internet computers in the lobby that you can use for €10 per 30 minutes.

Airport shuttle

Parking lot: The hotel has a parking area with 350 parking spaces. The first 2 hours are for free and after that the costs are €1.50 per hour with a maximum of €17.50 per 24 hours.

Children: Two children up to and including 11 years old can stay for free in the parents' room and get a 50% discount on breakfast. An additional bed can be placed in the room on request for €30 a night.

Anonymous This hotel it seems over the years has seen in decline in quality.: 3 October 2011; 5.0; + Convenient; - Drab and antiquated bathroom fixtures. There was a hole in the bath tub in room 2226. The shower curtain is too long. Stepping out of the tub is harzardous. I had gone out of the hotel in the morning to catch the first shuttle. I had a question, the receptionist would not open the revolving door and insisted that I speak to her via the telecom.

Olugbenga Oloko Crazy 5 euro charge for free shuttle bus return to Airport: 30 April 2011; 7.0; + close to the airport; - Why do i have to pay 5 Euros to get back to the Airport on the free shuttle bus - this is really crazy and annoying knowing fully well that some of the other hotels around - Accor hotels, Best western etap etc do not charge for this service.

dean cooper: 18 April 2011; 5.0; + nice marble floor in interence and nice bar; - old television in room, room described as superior but the minibar was almost empty and the bed had 2 seperate covers maning it was hard to stay under them. Also the room had AC but was extremely hot and was not cooled enough by the system.

Anonymous Convenient to airport: 3 July 2010; 7.2; + Very friendly check-in person. We weren't charged for shuttle back to airport (not sure why.) Size of room was good; - Air conditioning shut off at night. We were told that bar and restaurant would probably be too busy to accommodate us because they had a large party. We ate in lounge but had a more limited choice.

Very long walk from reception to room - OK for me but not so good if you were older. Breakfast was not great - busy, cramped and the food was average - bacon was like cardboard! Mini-bar was empty - so no chilled water.

Jeffrey Wilkinson Value for Money: 3 June 2010; 9.2; + Helpful Staff; - The airport bus Plaza Hotel markings are readily identified; the blue and white NH Hotel markings on the combined bus were missed causing an irritating wait for the next bus in half an hour. Suggest the driver, get out of the bus and call the hotels he is collecting for, like the other hotel bus drivers do. Lifts were not working.

Decent shuttle service.; - The gentleman checking me in at 10PM took three phone calls while I stood there in front of him waiting for my room key! How rude! The carpet is disgusting and the breakfast room was so dirty that I could barely find a chair to sit in and a clean fork to eat with...never again!

Good business hotel.; - Location is remote from any local amenities so hotel bar and restaurant is only real choice without a taxi ride into town.

michael ohara Disappointed client: 8 October 2009; 6.4; + Reception staff were very pleasant & helpful; - I do not normally complain, but I hope this mail has a value to u. My overall experience was disappointing, for a number of reasons. 1. The main restaurant was closed. 2. The food in the lobby restaurant was only average. 3. My non-smoking room smelled heavily of smoke. 4. I needed a trousers press, but was told it would take almost 24 hours. 5. The iron in my room was smashed into a number of pieces. Disappointing.

Arun Kumar Reception hopeless: 6 September 2009; 8.6; + good infrastructure; - Reception handling was extremely poor The person at the reception took 25 minutes for check in There is no need of wasting of time in filling up/entry data of the guest at the time of check in as person travelling should be checked in first and the entries can be passed on lator The person has debited an amount of Euro 250 against of due amount of about 95 which is totally illegal and unwarranted. For security even all of me credit and debit cards were with the reception and at the time of booking. I protested and got money back at the time of checking out. But it is totally wrong and you should take care in future. I wish to make your record straight you should realize such mistake and let me know your corrective action taken.

Anonymous Nice hotel but a llttle far from the city center: 10 May 2009; 7.2; + we arrived there on saturday, and were informed that we could check out before 17pm on sunday rather than 12pm as usual.we really enjoyed the stay in the hotel.; - A bit far from the city center, we need to go there first by train for about 20 minutes, and then take the shuttle to the hotel for about 8 minutes. the shuttle takes us 5 euro per person when leaving the hotel.

Service personnel was a definite plus.; - Restaurant closes too early for an Airport Hotel. We arrived late and had to go straight to the restaurant otherwise there would be no service. The short trip back to the Airport shouldn't be charged. The hotel is way too expensive to not provide complimentary transfers to/from Schiphol (NH Schiphol don't charge your transfer from the Airport to the hotel so most people is caught in surprise when then find out that they need to pay the transfer back!).
