The NH Schiphol Airport is a luxurious 4-star hotel near the A4 motorway. The hotel is located in the business district, which surrounds Schiphol and is therefore easy to access by car. If you are travelling by public transport, you can make use of the shuttle bus service, which will take you to and from Schiphol Amsterdam Airport between 06:00 h and midnight. The shuttle bus departs every 30 minutes (in both directions). The journey from Schiphol Amsterdam Airport to the hotel is free of charge and the journey from the hotel to Schiphol Amsterdam Airport costs €5 per person. The RAI conference centre and the World Trade Centre are only a 15-minute train journey from Schiphol Amsterdam Airport, and Amsterdam Central Station is only 20 minutes away.

The NH Schiphol Airport hotel is easy to reach, has an excellent location and professional staff. This combination makes the hotel a perfect place for conferences, training sessions and events. The 18 multifunctional conference rooms have a maximum capacity of 500 people.

Surroundings

The NH Schiphol Airport Hotel has an excellent location. Business travellers will find that the business districts of both Schiphol and Amsterdam are nearby. The hotel is also perfect for a tourist stay or a stop-over. The Keukenhof, the flower auction of Aalsmeer and the historic centre of Amsterdam are all located within a radius of 15 to 20 kilometres from the hotel.

Food and Drinks

Restaurant Gusto is located on the ground floor and offers an extensive breakfast buffet available from 05:30 h every morning: perfect for the early birds. From 12:00 to 14:30 h you can enjoy a wide selection from either the à la carte lunch menu or the lunch buffet. A young team of professional chefs work with fresh seasonal products. The menu features dishes inspired by French cuisine with an international twist. The restaurant is open from Monday through Thursday from 18:00 to 22:00 h. The Meeting Point coffee corner offers a great spot for a business meeting in an informal environment. The select menu features international lunch and dinner dishes. Opening times are from 08:30 to 23:00 h.

Worst experiece we ever had in our life
  • – On arrival , while making entry at the reception, we lost our baggage right infront of reception. We lost 3 inidan passports and one valuable SONY HX 20 V camera.

  • – Sometimes one had to wait 3 turns for a bus to get to airport. There should also be power converters from North America available, for those who forget theirs or did not think of it.

  • – A bit of a scam with internet. They say the room includes internet. But that means only a cable not the usage. Then you have to pay 10Euro/day for a very poor internet connection (Swisscom internet, always bad)

  • + 1) airport shuttle service good but should be FREE. 2) rooms are good size and clean [but hot and no ventilation] 3) Breakfast was good. 4) Reception staff and other staff was very good and polite.

Business Traveler - Looking for a Quick Layover Close to Airport
  • + close to the airport, room availability good, quality and taste of food good, exercise facility good
  • – airport shuttle service - buses are now too small, especially in the mornings people fight over space... I had to wait for two buses! staff in restaurant close to lobby - always under staffed and although good food and beer - the wait is always long... the breakfast in the morning is too expensive, I have stopped having breakfast and wait until I arrive at the airport or go across the street to McDonalds.
  • * my tip allow plenty of time to catch the airport shuttle, often crowded in the morning. ask for a room on the third or fourth floor (Quite and more space). overall good value for the price.

Well presented, clean and welcoming stay, close to Airport + motorway.
  • + Very close to Schiphol Airport and within 1km of the major motorway network. Only 20kms from Amsterdam centre. For families there is a fast food restaurant directly across the road from the hotel.
  • – In my opinion id would like to see a larger menu choice and the menu to be changed more frequently. I have stayed in the hotel in Jan2012 and have just returned there again some 3 months later and the menu is still the same. The food available on the current menu is very well presented and tasty.
  • * my tip Pay all bills the evening before your departure as this cuts down on waiting time in the morning when other guests want to pay and leave.

  • – Drab and antiquated bathroom fixtures. There was a hole in the bath tub in room 2226. The shower curtain is too long. Stepping out of the tub is harzardous. I had gone out of the hotel in the morning to catch the first shuttle. I had a question, the receptionist would not open the revolving door and insisted that I speak to her via the telecom.

Crazy 5 euro charge for free shuttle bus return to Airport

  • – Why do i have to pay 5 Euros to get back to the Airport on the free shuttle bus - this is really crazy and annoying knowing fully well that some of the other hotels around - Accor hotels, Best western etap etc do not charge for this service.

  • – One of the matrasses were worn out, you could feel the springs when sleeping. We had informed about 3 persons sleeping, but had to ask for ekstra bed. Very slow check out, and we have to leave a copy of the internet booking, as the price we were charged didnt correspond to the price informed. Very expensive breakfast.

  • – old television in room, room described as superior but the minibar was almost empty and the bed had 2 seperate covers maning it was hard to stay under them. Also the room had AC but was extremely hot and was not cooled enough by the system.
