Hostellerie Schuddebeurs is situated in the heart of the island 'Schouwen-Duiveland' in a green oasis. The 300 year old inn has been restored thoroughly through the years, but the stylish atmosphere remained intact. This magnificently located hotel-restaurant gained an excellent reputation in the area.
Hostellerie Schuddebeurs is part of the Romantik Hotels & restaurants International chain. This prestigious organisation only accepts hotels with a rich history, stylish ambience and excellent culinary reputation. Just like other Romantik hotels, the location of Hostellerie Schuddebeurs is magnificent; in the heart of the province Zeeland and surrounded by woods. The monumental town Zierikzee is only a few kilometres away from the hotel.
The rooms of the hotel are all slightly different but very comfortably furnished. The standard amenities are a bathroom with a bath and/or shower, toilet, television, telephone, minibar, coffee and tea making facilities, safe and a wireless Internet connection that guests with a laptop may use for free. In addition, the hotel has a wonderful garden with several terraces and free parking facilities.
Food and Drinks
The breakfast buffet is served daily between 08:00 and 10:00 h.
The restaurant is run by the hotel owner annex chef Bart de Bree, who acquired the necessary experience in several renowned restaurants. The kitchen staff makes use of the finest regional products. The oysters and eels originate from the 'Grevelingen' lake and the fresh fish is bought at the Stellendam fish auction. Guests can enjoy the gastronomic delights in a relaxing ambience.
The cosy bar is the perfect place to unwind and it is open daily until midnight. Several terraces can be found around the hotel, one of which is covered, so guests can enjoy the culinary specialities outside in summertime.

Guests can make free use of wireless Internet throughout the hotel with their laptop.

Surroundings
Hostellerie Schuddebeurs is surrounded by wonderful gardens and woods, where guests can unwind. For those who like gardens, a visit to the 'Zeeuwse Rozentuin' (rose garden of Zeeland) is a must. It is situated in the small village 'Kats', that can be reached by car in 20 minutes. More than 1000 different kinds of roses can be admired here. In addition, many beautiful sculptures are displayed in the garden as well.

- Romantisch hotel, oud engelse stijl, direct aan mooi bospark, zeer goed ontbijt, van avondeten geen gebruik gemaakt dus geen mening (alle tafels waren overigens wel bezet) goede bedden. Honden teogestaan

- Kleine parkeerplaats of parkeren aan de kant van de weg, Ik had voor € 140,- per nacht in ieder geval een grotere parkeerplaats verwacht, gezien het aantal kamers.Wij hadden een kleine kamer met een schuine kant met kantelraam, in de kast kon je geen jurken ophangen (te laag).Verder ca. 40 cm loopruimte rondom het bed. Wel nog een zitje.
Ik hoop dat de overige kamers groter zijn.

de suite waar we slipen is architectonisch idioot:
boven slaap je stil aan de tuinkant (goedkoper) terwijl beneden de over grint krassende auto's je slaap bederven.een beetje fantasie had dat verholpen (badkamer,wc etc aan parkeerkant) te grote zitkamer verdelen in zit en slaapgedeelte
