Hostellerie Schuddebeurs - Hampshire Classic is surrounded by wonderful gardens and woods, where guests can unwind. For those who like gardens, a visit to the 'Zeeuwse Rozentuin' (rose garden of Zeeland) is a must. It is situated in the small village 'Kats', that can be reached by car in 20 minutes. More than 1000 different kinds of roses can be admired here. In addition, many beautiful sculptures are displayed in the garden as well.

The breakfast buffet is served daily between 08:00 and 10:00 h.
The restaurant is run by the hotel owner annex chef Bart de Bree, who acquired the necessary experience in several renowned restaurants. The kitchen staff makes use of the finest regional products. The oysters and eels originate from the 'Grevelingen' lake and the fresh fish is bought at the Stellendam fish auction. Guests can enjoy the gastronomic delights in a relaxing ambience.
The cosy bar is the perfect place to unwind and it is open daily until midnight. Several terraces can be found around the hotel, one of which is covered, so guests can enjoy the culinary specialities outside in summertime.

Very friendly, helpful team in the hotel. Very convenient location for exploring Zeeland.
Meals we took were excellent.

The toilet in the Garden Suite needed an extractor fan; the "room" is tiny and has no means of ventilation.
Although the restaurant food was excellent, we found the menu choices somewhat limited.
*my tipEnjoy the Hostellerie as a base for touring the region. Enjoy the cuisine offered there, but don't neglect to try other, excellent restaurants in the area
