The name of hotel de Daaldersplaats is derived from the expression 'a daalders place' which the dictionary translates as 'first rank place'. The hotel lives up to its name because all important attractions such as the water gate, Maritime Museum and lovely historic buildings can easily be explored on foot. Because of the central position of Sneek in Friesland, the rest of the province is easily accessible as well.

The hotel has a cosy restaurant that breathes an informal atmosphere. Guests can enjoy the sunny outside terrace on bright days. Surroundings

Sneek is well-known as a centre for water sports. There are no less than 130 specialized water sport shops and companies, and 13 marinas. But besides a lot of water, Sneek is a town with many cosy terraces, cafés and a wonderful historic inner city. A visit to the Frisian Maritime Mueseum can certainly be recommended.

Food and Drinks

The breakfast is served on weekdays from 07:00 to 10:00 h. and on weekends from 08:00 to 10:00 h. Guests can enjoy a savoury 4-course dinner at a very friendly rate in the cosy restaurant. One can choose between a main course with fish or meat. The menu changes every week. It is also possible to dine à la carte here. The restaurant is open daily from 17:00 h.
