Buitenplaats 't Ges has modern double rooms, that are equipped with a bathroom, toilet, telephone,television and coffe- and tea making facilities. With its abundance of marinas and companies for aquatic sports, Sneek is known as a true centre for water sports enthusiasts. After only 2 kilometres sailing from Buitenplaats 't Ges you reach the 'Snekermeer'. Every August the sailing event the 'Sneekweek' is held here. Sneek is also perfect for a lovely stroll around the city. The famous 'Waterpoort' (water gate), the city hall in Rococo style, and the 'Grote Kerk' church are the most prominent historic attractions of the city.
