Hotel Conferentiecentrum la Sonnerie is housed in a former convent. The thick walls of this solid building and the authentic belfry still remind of times long gone. Inside it is a haven of peace. The hotel has a beautiful garden and it is located in the heart of a picturesque landscape at the Dommel river. A short stroll down the village road will take you to the historic village of Son.
This unique 4-star hotel has a stylish French-classic interior. The hostess of the hotel has French roots and the dishes at the restaurant are also inspired by French cuisine. The hotel offers 38 rooms, that are equipped with a telephone, television, radio, bathroom with bath and/or shower, wash basin and a toilet.
At the hotel you can rent a bicycle or canoe for a fun day trip in the beautiful surroundings. Bike routes can be bought at the reception. With a canoe one can follow the Dommel river. For some relaxation you can visit the nearby wellness and health resort Thermea Son. The hotel also offers other fun activities, such as regular exhibitions, music nights and golf tournaments. Food and Drinks
The breakfast is served on week days from 07:00 until 10:00 h. and on the weekend from 08:00 until 10:30 h. Restaurant la Sonnerie has an inviting atmopshere, with its large ceilings and cosy bar. Here you can enjoy a cup of coffee with a piece of pie or have an à la carte dinner from the brasserie kitchen. In the summer season you can also sit outside on the large terrace. For lunch the restaurant is open from Monday until Friday between 12:00 and 14:30 h. On the weekend the lunch hours are extended from 12:00 until 17:30 h. It is also possible to order a packed lunchRestaurant la Sonnerie has a good reputation in the culinary field. Combine a high quality wine from the Elzas region with one of the international dishes. On week days guests can dine from 17:30 until 22:00 h. and on the weekend from 12:00 until 22:00 h. You can also order a culinary suprise menu, with a combination of meat and fish dishes, prepared with the freshest of products. Vegetarians are also catered for. On Saturday and Sunday there is a High Tea with delights such as scones, sandwiches, quiche and a wide variety of teas. Between Christmas and New Year la Sonnerie is not open for lunch, but dinner service is still available from 18:00 h.
