In the historic health resort Spa you can still follow a course of treatment in the Roman baths. Spa has a rich history. Throughout the centuries, the name of the town has come to mean a place with a natural spring that has a healing effect. Especially in the 18th century, many kings visited Spa to take advantage of the benefits of the mineral springs, such as Tsar Peter the Great and Charles II of England. Some famous visitors are depicted on the Golden Book fresco.

Every morning between 08:00 and 10:00 h. you can enjoy a hearty breakfast buffet and plan your day at leisure in the breakfast room. In the romantic and attractive restaurant you have a wide choice of fine Belgian cuisine. The menu changes regularly. The restaurant is open daily from 18:30 h.

- The hotel does not have a 24-hour reception. Guests can check in until 20:00 h. If you would like to check in after 20:00 h., you need to contact the reception in advance.

Surroundings
The beautiful surroundings offer lovely walks through the woods or the nature reserve Hoge Venen. Kayaking is also a popular activity in the area. Places of interest within less than half an hour's drive are the caves of Remouchamps and the well known waterfalls of Coo and of course for children the amusement park Plopsa Coo. The famous Spa-Francorchamps racetrack is only 10 kilometres from Hotel Le Relais. A museum of the racetrack is located in Stavelot.
