Beskrivning
The B&B has a dining room and three different guest rooms. The Chocolat room, Moonbright room and the Velvet Queen room. All three offer a charming bathroom with bath, shower and a washbasin and a toilet. The Chocolat room has a seperate toilet next to the bathroom. The Velvet Queen room offers a splendid view of the farmlands. The rooms were named after the sunflowers that are being cultivated behind the farm.
At Bed and Breakfast Helianthus Zathe you can get acquainted with typical Frisian delicacies such as Fryske Dumkes, Oranjekoeken, Sukerbole, Frisian clove cheese and last but not least Berenburg bitters. The B&B is ideal for a fun weekend with friends of family, but also for business travellers that want to stay centrally in the north of the Netherlands near the main motorway A7. This motorway provides great accessibility from Amsterdam, Groningen, Zwolle and Leeuwarden.
The owners of the B&B will ensure that you will want for nothing during your stay. In the early morning the table in the dining room will be set for breakfast. The sheltered courtyard is at your disposal as well. Also children are not forgotten. While you enjoy the peacefulness of the countryside, your children can play in the sandbox and with the playground equipment.

- The B&B does not have a 24-hour reception. Guests can check-in until 23:30 h.
- It is not possible to pay with a credit card.
- An additional bed can be placed in the Velvet Queen and the Moonbright room on request for €20 a night.
- The Bed and Breakfast has special rooms for guests with a disability.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Luggage can be stored (on request).

Bed and Breakfast Helianthus Zathe is located near Drachten and just 30 kilometers from the city of Groningen. Within a stone's throw you will find the woods of Bakkeveen with a large sand flat. On various walking trails you can make beautiful and informative walks.
