Hotel Pension 't Huys Grol Renesse is established in a listed building. Built in 1599 as a country house it has a long history. The hotel is situated in a stunning English landscape garden measuring 3000 m², a wonderful place for hotel guests to enjoy lovely walks. The garden has a centuries-old section where you can admire plants typical to bygone eras. During warm weather, this garden is also a wonderful place to have breakfast or a nice drink. The island of Schouwen Duiveland has the most sun-hours in the Netherlands.

Lovers of culture and history may wish to visit the old cities of Zierikzee, Veere and Middelburg. The Westerschouwen amusement park or the Punt are great attractions for children. The nearby de Grevelingen nature reserve is the largest freshwater lake in Western Europe, and is rich in flora and fauna. Half of this area is reserved for water sports, making it the perfect place for canoeing, surfing, diving and sailing.
