Worldhotel Bel Air The Hague

Had a great stay, just like other years!

• + Had to be at the World Forum for two days. No more than a five-minute walk from the World Forum, and a -lot- cheaper than the Novotel at the World Forum. Very good service. Great facilities, great hotel.
• – They should allow guests to park at no charge. Now it cost me € 17,50 to park my car there.
• * my tip The daily dish at the restaurant is good value for money!

Perfect Stay, close to the beach, nice staff !

• – worn out hotel, understaffed. people are friendly however.
• * my tip when you need to be in the worldforum it's the best deal, otherwise won;t recommend lousy hotel bar

Mooie kamer, geen douche, geen WIFI daardoor duur

• + grote kamer, schoon, mooi uitzicht
• – douche werkte niet, lampen in de kamer waren moeilijk aan te krijgen. Behalve bij de deur was er geen schakelaar te vinden behalve de draadschakelaars op de lampjes. WIFI viel steeds weg waardoor ik geen stabiele VPN verbinding kon maken met mijn werk.
• * my tip Doe het raam open op het moment dat je de kamer binnenkomt. Zorg zelf voor je WIFI verbinding.

Ok, but can be improved on some points

• + Free internet, however, the connection is not very stable
• – Expensive breakfast and diner Rooms are outdated

Stay was adequate

• + Hotel was adequate for our needs.
• – Maid service failed to leave wash clothes and replace dirty glasses. Only morning food option was the pricey breakfast. The food for the one evening dinner we ate there was not very good.

• – no spa or swimming pool

friendly place, but not such internet friendly as well

• + friendly and professional service
• – desperetly needs redecoration very poor and unconveniant internet connection; only single logging, (i.e. not possible to log in with iPhone and notebook on one account) network connection unstabale, must to log in eveytime when you exit the wireless network) no need to charge internet costs, even in Turkey they don't do that! internet should be common good!

Bel Air Hotel-The Hague, basic, clean, and comfortable!!!!

• + Minimalistic, basic, but comfortable and clean!!!Not luxurious, but just what needed for a comfortable stay. Slightly off the beaten path from city center, but easily accessible to tram which is 5 minute walk away. Once you are on the tram, about a 10 min ride to center of things. There is however a shopping district/eating about a 10 min walk away. Room size was decent, actually quite spacious compared to many other European hotels.
• – Would love FREE wifi in the rooms!!! Which many European hotels STILL no not offer, but it was free only in the lobby of the hotel.

ridiculous

• + close to my end destination
• – very expensive, hard to find, and very ridiculous that as dutch citizen had to pay the tourist tax, come on people, if this is business, at least come up with a good idea to squueeze money out of people....

Bit outdated rooms

• + Easy to reach location. Nice entrance
• – Lobby doesn't reflect the rooms: Rooms are a bit shabby, need renovation. WAY to little parking space, airco hardly worked and was noisy.

Excellent introduction to The Hague

• + Staff were very efficient and helpful, on-line booking very simple, room was very comfortable, the breakfast was particularly good.

CHANGE STYLE

• + GOOD RECPTION
• – ROOM SERVICE IN THE MORNING IS TO NOISY, DISTURBING LATE CHECKING OUT GUEST. MUST CHANGE STYLE FOR THE ROOMS.

Excellent hotel for weekend ie 3 night break.

• + Comfortable rooms. Excellent buffet breakfast. Reception staff were more welcoming, helpful and efficient than experienced during our last visit.
• – Fitness room not well equipped The hotel is affordable but perhaps a deal might be offered for dinner in the restaurant for guests on a weekend break.

An efficient business hotel, but rather remote from the centre

• + Clean and efficient. Service was good and helpful
• – High parking charges, suite was a little spartan although the bath robe and slippers were welcome. Location near nowhre particular as far as The Hague attractions are concerned.

Not likely to stay again, spoilt by the barman.

• + front desk staff were very friendly and helpfull.
• – bar man was rude and unhelpfull. Room was over airconditioned which resulted in it being very dry and I was dehydrated when I woke up.

Excellent service hotel between the city centre and the beach

• + Quality of service, staff very friendly. I received chocolates in my room after I told one receptionist that the day I arrived was my birthday...
• – Rooms are a bit old-fashioned, and could be refreshed / modernised.

Great, affordable hotel not far from the beach

• + awsome breakfast, very nice hotel staff, good public transportation to the beach and Den Haag, wending machine on each floor
• – small TV and low quality towels. I was also missing a cofeemaker in the room.

Great staff, great location, great breakfast, shame about the charges!

• + The staff were friendly and helpfull. The location is good, within easy reach of the city and the beach. The hotel is comfortable and the breakfasts are excellent.
• – The swimming pool has been filled in to acommodate business clients, this was a usp but now the Bel Air is no better set up for leisure visitors than The Crown Plaza. The building work starting at 7.30 am was annoying. We were charged 25 euro per night for an extra bed, this seems excessive. We visit Den Haag most years and will probably choose another hotel in future because of the excessive "extra" charge.
