Anonymous Stay was adequate: 26 October 2011; 7.0; + Hotel was adequate for our needs.; - Maid service failed to leave wash clothes and replace dirty glasses. Only morning food option was the pricey breakfast. The food for the one evening dinner we ate there was not very good.

Madge Evans Bel Air Hotel-The Hague, basic, clean, and comfortable!!!!: 7 October 2010; 9.4; + Minimalistic, basic, but comfortable and clean!!!Not luxurious, but just what needed for a comfortable stay. Slightly off the beaten path from city center, but easily accessible to tram which is 5 minute walk away. Once you are on the tram, about a 10 min ride to center of things. There is however a shopping district/eating about a 10 min walk away. Room size was decent, actually quite spacious compared to many other European hotels.; - Would love FREE wifi in the rooms!!! Which many European hotels STILL no not offer, but it was free only in the lobby of the hotel.

ELIZABETH BARTON Excellent hotel for weekend ie 3 night break.: 26 October 2009; 8.2; + Comfortable rooms. Excellent buffet breakfast. Reception staff were more welcoming, helpful and efficient than experienced during our last visit.; - Fitness room not well equipped The hotel is affordable but perhaps a deal might be offered for dinner in the restaurant for guests on a weekend break.

The location is good, within easy reach of the city and the beach. The hotel is comfortable and the breakfasts are excellent.; - The swimming pool has been filled in to acommodate business clients, this was a usp but now the Bel Air is no better set up for leisure visitors than The Crown Plaza. The building work starting at 7.30 am was annoying. We were charged 25 euro per night for an extra bed, this seems excessive. We visit Den Haag most years and will probably choose another hotel in future because of the excessive "extra" charge.

Marco Silva: 6 May 2008; 6.8; + In global perspective it does the job more than well if you are just looking for a bed to rest. The room service makes sure that all minimal necessities are granted without asking. The staff is very polite and helpfull. Not too expensive for a 4 star.; - For a 4 star hotel I was expecting a little bit more. Though it has a modern aspect from the outside, the inside looks kind of outfashioned. The rooms are as standard as it gets. You can get almost the same confort, service and accomodations in some 3 stars hotels and, of course, for less money. There are tram stops nearby (+/- 100 meters), however - I think - only one will take you to the centre of Den Haag. A bike will give you plenty more mobility (10€/day on the hotel).
