The Ibis Den Haag City Centre offers a comfortable stay in the cosy centre of The Hague. By car as well as by public transport the hotel can be reached easily. Public transport will take you to Den Haag Central Station within minutes. From the A12 motorway the hotel can be reached easily as well. Noordeinde Palace and the Binnenhof are situated within walking distance and museums such as the Mauritshuis and 'Escher in het Paleis (Museum of grafical artist M.C. Escher)' are easy to reach. From the city centre a tram connection will take about 15 minutes to Scheveningen, which is ideal for a day out on the beach or a visit to the Circustheater.

Surroundings

During a stay at the Ibis Den Haag City Centre the city is on your doorstep. Malcolm Champion A little attention to services available would improve your standards: 15 October 2010; 6.8; + breakfast selection.; - Room too hot. Window open was no option due to noise outside. Air conditioning therefore required. The scrambeld eggs served at breakfast very poor quality. We returned to the hotel after midnight and would have liked a drink, either at the the bar or a hot drink but was told this was not possible, even though there was night staff on duty and a sign in the lift stated there was a 24 hour bar. Perhaps a hot drink dispensing machine for residents only could be installed?

AHMED SHAHROUR It was a joy to stay in Ibis Hotel in Den Haag.: 2 August 2010; 9.6; + The room is quite comfortable and large enough for a family with one child. Food was always served hot and it was varied and delicious. Although the hotel is in the city centre, it is very quiet and staff were welcoming.; - The bed for our child had a small protruding triangular metal piece on its edge, which was not safe for our child who hit his foot once and hurt it.

Shower was excellent. Wonderful view over the roof tops of the city; - There was no restaurant and a very poor bar menu. We were restricted by lack of mobility and this proved difficult for us. The breakfast was very expensive at 13 euro. A smaller cheaper alternative would have been good, especially for the wheatfree vegetarian! The room needed more clothes storage space.

The room is very clean and has everything that is needed (I did not find a hairdryer, but I guess I should've asked it at the FO); - The variety of the dishes is limited. It would be great to have soups, small hot dishes on the menu and typical Dutch dishes. Also, as I work in a hotel myself, I noticed that the staff of your hotel should upsell the services of the hotel much more than it is done now.

Afhankelijk of de kamer aan de wegkant zit, is lawaai niet onontkoombaar. De bedden zijn wat hard. Parkeren in parkeergarage kost ca, €20 per 24 uur. Hotel geeft wel korting.

Sornarajah Very comfortable stay in an ultra-clean hotel: 10 August 2008; 9.2; + Efficient service at front desk.Very clean though basic facilities (given the price, this is no complaint). Location is great.; - I stayed for five nights. I have no complaints whatsoever. It is an excellent hotel for the price. Maybe, light coffee making facilities could be provided.

The Flyers So So could do better for the price!: 10 August 2008; 7.4; + Centrally located in The Hague close to public transport, main shops, museums and historic places etc.; - The similarly priced hotel facilities were not as good as those of Dutch chain's Rotterdam hotel where we spent the previous two nights. The breakfast buffet was poor in comparision so we only had once. No coffee and tea facilities in the room though lounge coffee was good and reasonably priced. The pillows were strange and lumpy and the towels though enough were not full size.
