The Mercure at the Spui is for us the most professional & pleasant
very excellent service at the desk. even managed to print my boarding pass from my ipad. Good info on things to see in The Hague. good, quiet room with handy choice between hard and soft cushions.Nice bar and more. Not the first time we were in yr hotel.
Hanging space could be increased.
*my tipWe recommend to start a tour through the "binnenhof " and end up in one or more of the many restaurants on the "plein"

Leuk verblijf in het centrum van Den Haag
Ruime badkamer, comfortabel bed
Cosy comfortable hotel in a convenient location
The hotel provided all the facilities that I look out for when I travel -- hairdryer, free wifi in the room, good service. What particularly impressed me about this hotel are the front desk staff who were so willing to help us out whenever we had a request. Kirsten, in particular, was very helpful.
Some things that can be improved:
1. The greenish lighting in the lift is a tad eerie - can be improved to make it more cosy.
2. The general lighting in the hotel and in the rooms is quite dark. Might be better to have more lights or brighter lights as it didn't feel too welcoming when we arrived in the night.
3. The maps and brochures at the reception area are not too helpful. Will be good to have more detailed maps and a greater variety of brochures that are helpful.
*my tipBook early! I wanted to book the hotel for another two nights, but the price was almost double what I paid initially. It's a really short walk from Den Haag Central Station, and the walk is quite smooth even with luggage. Don't bother walking from Den Haag Holland Spoor Station even though it seems equidistance on the map. It is a difficult walk with luggage.
Great hotel but do not make use of breakfast
breakfast is too expensive for the offered quality
*my tipDo not book breakfast

A joyous weekend in The Hague
Late night drinks bar open
No direct access to hotel from car park
High cost of breakfast
*my tipGreat venue for Queens' holiday festivities
Excellent accommodation at a central location
Well organized, high-quality, and perfect location.
Great that you could get a meal even if leaving at 5.00 a.m.
good value, good location
no turn around for dropping off luggage. The hotel staff was courteous, but not overly helpful for local advice. Everyone speaks very good English, which was helpful.
I found it very convenient that customers don't have to pay in advance with a credit card, just book a room online.
There is a very good explanation about sightseeings and museums of the Hague on TV channel 1, very useful.
I liked the view from the window and double sound proof glass on the window
I didn't know where to park my bicycle, but it's a minor point
The Hotel has a very good location close to the central rail station, Ministries (recent developeme nts) and shoopipng area. Room and bathroom were clean and equipped with new furnitures.
Beds are small ... room looks like student's dormitory...

Very pleasant staff, only too happy to help with any request. The baby cot we had requested was not in our room when we arrived, but upon seeing the baby, the staff member at reception ordered one immediately and it was promptly delivered. High chairs were also available in the breakfast restaurant. Breakfast was delicious. Room was quiet. Very clean and comfortable.
Incredibly wonderful staff!
Can you do something about the US dollar! This was the most expensive trip of my life. The staff was fabulous.
A few small additions to make things better
The shower was wonderful. The cleanliness exceptional.
There was no ice available on the floor and one had to go to the lobby bar each time. They would not supply anything to carry ice to your room.
There was no tea or coffee making equipment in the room.
You need at least one more free access computer in the lobby for guests to get on the web. One is NOT enough. There was always a long line for its use.
