- Excellent location and Staff
- The hotel staff was excellent. Ms. K. Van Wijk was particularly helpful. The central location of the hotel is excellent. I plan on staying again, especially when traveling in off seasons.
- The walls are not well sound proofed. However, the features of this hotel are otherwise comparable to much more expensive hotels. If you are a sound sleeper its really not a big deal.

Hotel Washington Amsterdam Two stars hotel
- Frans van Mierisstraat Amsterdam
Hotel Washington Amsterdam will pleasantly surprise you with its characteristic façade and warm and friendly interior. The charming rooms are all designed in a slightly different style. This small-scale hotel is located on a quiet street, just east of the 'Museumplein' and west of the lively neighbourhood 'de Pijp'.

- Lovely and convenient hotel.
- Service was excellent with very nice management. The room was small but clean, comfortable and modern. The hotel is right next to the museum district of Amsterdam and only a 2 minute walk to the tram which takes you anywhere in the city center in 5 minutes.
- Internet is not included in the cost.

- Nice stay at the Bilderberg Hotel Jan Luyken
- The location is quiet, very close to the museum district, luxury shops, and public transportation. Staff were accommodating and the hotel was very clean.
- Internet access is very expensive. The television was very small and outdated (not a flat screen). There was no dresser and not a lot of storage space.

Piet Hein Hotel Amsterdam Three stars hotel
- Vossiusstraat 51-53 Amsterdam
The Piet Hein Hotel Amsterdam lies at the green oasis of the Vondelpark, within walking distance of the Museumplein and the Leidseplein. Interestingly, the hotel has a nautical atmosphere. Enjoy a drink in the lounge bar or at the outside terrace in the lovely garden at the rear of the hotel. There are smoking and non smoking rooms available.

- Excellent hotel in great location
- Fantastic location right in the Vondelpark and only steps from museums and shops. The hotel's interior is very stylish and cozy, with comfortable and beautiful rooms. The hotel bar is a lovely place to relax and meet with friends. Service is very helpful and friendly. Guests have free access to the internet and the hotel has printing facilities. Staff helps with booking museum tickets to avoid the queues.
- Can't really think of much. The bathroom ventilation system seems to draw in smoke from smoking areas outside the hotel (as the hotel itself is non-smoking), which is a bit unpleasant. Switching off the room A/C caused the room temperature to drop steeply overnight, while leaving it on means some noise. We didn't try the breakfast as it was not included in the rate.

- Perfect for a romantic stay
- It is a nicely situated hotel with a serene room decoration, which offers a pleasant neutral atmosphere for everyone's taste. The very high ceilings and long windows with the beautiful view over the park (I stayed on 3rd floor) with its long dark heavy curtains give a romantic touch to the room. Nicely aired, fresh and clean room and bathroom, a comfortable bed. The lift was barely heard from my room which was a definite plus point. In summary, a good traditional Amsterdam hotel, which puts you in the same mode as the city, you'll feel like you belong.
- Only the size which actually is part of Amsterdam and can be quite cute. I could say that the double room was a bit too small for two people, with one of the bed sides against the wall and a tiny bathroom with hardly any space to put down toiletries. As I stayed by myself it was perfect, and so it would be for a fresh couple, I'm sure. If planning to stay with a friend then I'd suggest you request a double room with twin beds for more comfort.

- A little off-key
- A private room rather at nearly a hostel price was good, as well as a small fridge and a large window. (Not all rooms are equipped with the same window)
- No customer service, linens were questionably clean and I found several things missing in my room; after looking for them for an hour I gave up and left only to have room service hand me my license without a word while I waited for the elevator; bizarre sketchy and not cool.

Hotel Vivaldi is a small hotel in the cultural centre of Amsterdam. Numerous bars, clubs and concert halls are within walking distance of this charming hotel.

- A very basic hotel
- A nice relaxed bar at the end of the street. Right next to the Heineken Brewery and a 10 minute walk to Leidesplein with lots of restaurants and cheap bars.
- We had to walk down the road from the Vivaldi to our room as we were placed in their sister hotel. That meant that we had to walk back to the Vvialdi every morning to get our breakfast in the morning. The hotel is a good 20-25 minute walk to the centre of Amsterdam. The breakfast room is small and on some days there was no seating and you were not allowed to take breakfast out of the room so we had to stand up and eat.

- should consider, not the first choice though
- Good location if you prefer to be closer to the Vondel Park rather than the Red Light Dist. Stayed in small double room. We were a couple travelling light, so there was no big deal room area wise, which is common in previous remarks. Vey close to the museums.
- THE HOTEL DOOR DID NOT OPEN, which as usual is autosliding. People inside could not get out either. After 5 long minutes of waiting on the street with 6-8 other stayers the hotel receptionist showed up with a grin on his face and "voila" sliding doors open by means of pushing a secret button under the counter. The rest is fine with the hotel.
