excellent hotel .......very friendly, helpfull staff

breakfast, albeit a lovely spread, was expensive at 19 euro per person......we found breakfast at numerous places within 5 mins walk....a good selection and a lot better priced.

the canal cruise company across the road was not very truthfull about its ticketing as the museums do not give a discount on their tickets.Your company should not recommend them.small point! also cruise only works in one direction .

Nice stay at the Bilderberg Hotel Jan Luyken

The location is quiet, very close to the museum district, luxury shops, and public transportation. Staff were accommodating and the hotel was very clean.

Internet access is very expensive. The television was very small and outdated (not a flat screen). There was no dresser and not a lot of storage space.

Warm receptions from everybody starting from your doorman to reception always make me feel I am coming home. I have stayed in many hotels around the world in my life including other Inter-Continental group hotels but I only have two hotels which I like the most and always feel at home there. The other is the Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong.

The College Hotel is conveniently situated near the Museumplein. Although there is a tram stop in front of the hotel, by means of a pleasant stroll you can reach several areas of interest with ease. Amsterdam's concert hall the Concertgebouw and numerous museums are situated within a 300 meter radius.

Great service and welcome from a very helpful and enthousiastic staff. Nice room with excellent bathroom I was totally surprised at the how good this hotel is - especially considering the competative cost.

Tell the staff that if a foreigner trys to speak Dutch, it is not always necssay to reply in English.

Fabulous weekend luxury

As soon as we arrived, even though it was 11.30pm, we were greeted by a very welcoming receptionist who effieciently checked us in and directed us to our room. The corridors leading to our room are beautifully decorated and felt really luxurious - exposed brickwork and high gloss black wood. As we entered our room, we were greeted by a very light and airy space, oriental in design. The bathroom was equally tasteful and a delight to use with the heated tiles underfoot !!! The pleasure of our stay began with the presentation of a lovely desert biscuit in a cute cake stand ....... it is this care and attention to small details that really puts a smile on your face. Well done x x

Unfortunately we were only able to stay for the weekend and had so much to squeeze in that we didn't get to enjoy the cocktail bar ! Here's to our next stay at this beautiful hotel x x

Wat een warme vriendelijke ontvangst. Betrokken en begaan personeel. Stijlvol en sfeervol tegelijk. Oog voor detail. Alles met veel smaak. Echt helemaal af.

Geen plaats meer in het restaurant, maar met alle moeite een ander heerlijk restaurantje geregeld.
