Lovely heritage hotel in the centre of Thorn. Period style public rooms. Attractive vaulted style basement bar. Very good chef in the kitchen. Staff very friendly. Positives far outweigh the negatives.

Decor in bedrooms a bit 70's and our room could have done with a lick of paint. Service occasionally somewhat slow. Menu a bit restricted (but with very high quality food)

Wondefully friendly and has all the home comforts and atmosphere unlike some of the newer larger hotels in the area.

Slightly dated but this is an extremely minor detriment and it would be better if the hotel would be left as it is rather than being modernized and ruined!
