The hotel is located on the Balijelaan, a street in the 'Dichterswijk' (an area of streets named after famous poets) of Utrecht. The hotel is less than 2 kiometres away from the Central Station and only a five-minute drive from the 'Jaarbeursplein,' a city square that features the the event hall the 'Utrechtse Jaarbeurs' and the Beatrix Theatre. The city centre of Utrecht can also be reached within ten minutes by car or public transportation. This brings you close to all the major attractions of the inner city: the famous 'Dom' church tower, the Academy Building and the many other centuries-old monuments and enclosed courtyards.

Niet ver van station, centrum en Beatrixtheater. Prima ontbijt. Ruime 3-persoonskamer.

Verkeerslawaai vanwege ligging aan druk kruispunt. Ligt net buiten het centrum, ongezellige buurt. Sommige dingen wat armoedig zoals een gerafelde versleten handdoek. Stijle ongemakkelijke trap naar de 3e etage (geen lift).

In front of the hotel is a major intersection with a lot of traffic by day and night, including trucks and motorbikes. The room was stiflingly hot, so getting some decent sleep was impossible.

Hygiene was ok. Not special or exceptional, but ok.

The room was not cleaned before 5 pm, and I had to use a really angry tone to make them do that. The receptionist had a dog that licked my legs, and he seemes more interested in his dog than in the guests. There were not people in the reception even in daytime. I had to make a phone call to get in contact with them, and it took time for them to come, even in daytime.

Very nice people working there. Rooms are all unique. In a quiet neightborhood, with a good thai restaurant nearby, internet cafe, great ice cream store, grocery store. Kebab place nearby that is open very late, which is unusual for Utrecht.

Wij komen hier zeker nog terug.

Tien min.van station/jaarbeurs. Vrij ruijme kamer (nr.10). Breed uitzicht: voor en zij kant. Je kan al vroeg terecht (14uur). Ontbijt is mogelijk tot 11 uur, ideaal. "Geluids overlast" waar ik over had gelezen (verkeer) is onzin, tenminste ... in de nacht van zat.op zon. Het hotel heeft ook niet zoveel kamers, en is dus lekker rustig! Er is aardig wat parkeergelegenheid in de buurt. Je kan ook geweldig goed eten + stappen in Utrecht. Gordijnen houden't het hele jaar wel goed donker denk, super dik!

Wij zaten op kamer nr.10. Dat blijkt de bovenste kamer te zijn, op 3 hoog. Gebrek aan lift is voor sommige mogelijk een probleem? Ik vond het bed waar ik in lag niet zo geweldig, voelde nog het meest als een "kuil". Heb in't midden onder de matras een opgevouwen handdoek gelegd, dit werkt best aardig.

Preiswertes, recht zentral gelegenes Hotel, in dem man alles hat, was man braucht (mehr aber auch nicht). Frühstück reichhaltig. War jetzt das zweite Mal da und würde das Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Keine Parkplätze - Parkplatzsuche in der Umgebung schwierig.

1, Erg vriendeljke gastvrouw en gastheer. Zeer behulpzaam. 2. Klein maar knus hotel. 3.Gemoedelijke sfeer, je voelt je direct op je gemak. 4. Eenvoudig en gedateerd, maar voor mij voldoende. 5.Ik heb de indruk dat ze nog volop in ontwikkeling zijn en als dit is afgerond , het een van de leukste kleine hotels zal worden in Utrecht. 6.Voorzieningen gemakkelijk bereikbaar.
