Description
The small-scale hotel lies on a green square near the centre of Utrecht. Hotel Badhu is inspired by the Arabian baths and wash-houses, the hamam.
Each room has a unique Arabian atmosphere with one main colour. All rooms have a luxurious bathroom, minibar, flatscreen television, free WiFi and a Nespresso coffee machine. In the restaurant on the ground floor you can taste Arabian dishes.
The hotel can be easily reached by car and public transport. In the vicinity there is ample public parking. In front of the hotel you can catch a bus to Utrecht Central Station, which takes only 8 minutes.
Food and Drinks
The breakfast starts at 08:00 h. If you love sleeping in, you can enjoy the Arabian breakfast at 11:00 h. (available at a different rate than the standard breakfast) which offers such items as Moroccan bread, hummus and fig jam.
The bar and the restaurant are open on weekdays from 8:00 h. and on weekends from 9:00 h. For lunch you can for instance have Moroccan or Lebanese bread with marinated gambas or baked Haloumi, or one of the original soups.
You can also try a Chai. This is an Arabian High Tea with sweet delicacies and savoury sandwiches, served with tea.
Dinner guests are spoilt for choice with lovely mezze, small Arabian dishes. You can for instance have a variety of tajines, stews, grilled meat and fish courses or choose a vegetarian dish with haloumi or feta cheese. Moroccan wines are served with dinner, and the menu also offers Arabian cocktails.

- The hotel does not have a 24-hour reception. If you would like to check-in after 23:30 h., you need to contact the reception in advance.
- An additional bed can be placed on request in the Green, Brown and White room for €25 a night.
- Pets are allowed on request for €15 a night.

Surroundings
Design Hotel Badhu Utrecht lies in the city district Tuinwijk on the edge of the city centre. From the hotel you can walk via the Griftpark, the Wittevrouwensingel and the shops of the Wittevrouwenstraat. In the park you can catch some sun or visit the city farm and the playground. Once you have reached the centre, you can go shopping along the Oudegracht canal or at the indoor shopping center Hoog Catharijne, climb the Dom tower or visit the Centraal Museum and the Dick Bruna Huis (the author of the Miffy books).
