An attractive quiet place but modern and traditional too
+
There was a great feel to this nicely modernised teraced house, a very traditional building which did not have an ordinary hotel atmosphere to it.
–
stairs - like many traditional dutch buildings - are very steep
*my tipIf stairs are difficult for you this might not be the place to stay

Excellent boutique style hotel with personal service
+
Excellent hotel - very small number of rooms and feeling of being at home rather than in a un-personal hotel chain.
Owner being present at all times makes for sure a difference how customers being treated.

Experience a typical Dutch home
+
This is really a ``bed-and-breakfast''. The owner is excellent, friendly but does not impose on you. My room has a balcony overlooking gardens and a canal. Excellent for a quieter experience. Excellent breakfast that the owner will cook to order.
–
A little far away from the centre of Utrecht, a 30 to 45 minute walk once you find the most efficient route.
*my tipBe sure it's what you want; this is not the typical hotel (in a nice way).

Excellent service, ambience and cosiness
+
The service was perfect, the owner was very friendly and determined to do everything he could for the guests. I had a single room with a balcony looking out onto a beautiful garden and canal. I was sharing a toilet and bathroom with one other room, which was fine, always extremely clean and available. It is a small hotel and you feel as if you are in a home, not a hotel. There is a coffee maker in the room, free wifi, a sink, and added touches like a bathrobe. Breakfast was excellent for €10.
–
The hotel is about 20 min walk from the centre, or 5 min walk + 5 min bus, but a nice quiet area. The stairs are very steep and narrow and may not be easy for everyone.
*my tipAsk for a room facing the garden.

Charming hotel
+
Charming hotel with helpful and generous hosts. Sitting in the garden was a pleasure. The room had a tiny but well-designed bathroom and even had air conditioning as well as a window that opened.
–
Since I was helped up to my room by the host who carried my bags, the lack of elevator was not a problem.
*my tipThe bus to the city center is quite easy to take. There are take-put food places near each bus stop if you need a quick snack.

An excellent choice
+
The hotel is an excellent choice, I traveled alone and the single budget room was perfect for me. The room was enough spacious, the toilet and the shower were clean and proper equipped. The breakfast suits the designed atmosphere of the hotel and I think that the price of it is right.
–
The high tap of the sink in the single budget room creates some problems when you need to wash your face.

A Small Hotel in a Quiet Neighborhood With All That You Could Ask For
+
Rooms are neat and modern. Our second floor location was compensated by a glass shielded balcony overlooking back-yard gardens and the small canal. The room and the hotel in general was quiet. The staff was helpful and firendly.
–
The room that we had was a bit small and a bit off the beaten path, with car parking on the street. But it was within a 10 minute walk of the bus lines and was located where we wanted to be.
