Surroundings
The Central Station (train station) and the Jaarbeurs (convention center) are within walking distance of the hotel. In the surrounding area of the hotel, various restaurants, bars, shops and museums can be found. The Domtoren (church tower) and the cosy 'grachten' (canals) are easy to reach and the shopping centre Hoog Catharijne is only a stone?s throw away. For a night filled with entertainment, your best choice is the Beatrix Theater (musical
theater).
Food and Drinks
The breakfast restaurant on the second floor of the building is also modernly decorated and offers a beautiful view of the Vredenburgplein (square). The continental breakfast buffet can be enjoyed from Monday through Friday from 07:00 to 10:00 h. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 08:00 to 11:00 h. The breakfast is filled with a variety of luxury breads and sandwich fillings and a few hot dishes.

*my tipAs a former Netherlands resident, I'd suggsest that if you fancy a weekend in Amsterdam, you consider a weekend in Utrecht instead and go to Amsterdam by train (30 mins, every 30 mins, all day + night trains) if you need to. It'll cost you less, for a better hotel, has plenty of its own attractions, and isn't overrun with people solely determined to get off their heads.

Clean and comfortable. Three full size single bed room makes travelling with a child or small group affordable, not having to get an extra room. The blackout curtains were brilliant! Located very close to Utrecht Centraal station and venues were all within walking distance of the hotel.

The TV volume level is pre-set so low that it is impossible to hear. The breakfast is expensive, so we skipped it.
