Overall nice but considering the price there is room for improvement

Stayed in the bridal suite in the Romeinse Vleugel. Plus points include nice jacuzzi bath with a window in the bathroom, nice bed, view of the Dom, high ceiling and stylish decor with blend of antique & modern. The pool area is open until 11 pm, which is very nice.

Speakers in the bathroom where the jacuzzi is and other areas of the room seem pretty crucial to set the mood in a bridal suite, but the sound only came from the TV and therefore was quite lacking. The playlists for the music could be much improved upon. Disappointed that breakfast isn't included. In the bridal suite there should be complimentary champagne or wine and water or chocolate at the very least. A balcony for this room would have been lovely considering the view of the Dom.
*my tipEat at the Grand Restaurant if you can! I didn't go there this time because it was closed for summer holidays but was there twice before and had the full menu with wine pairings -- simply divine experience both times!

The grounds were lovely.
It was a treat to stay in Utrecht and easy to take the train into Amsterdam and the surrounding cities.

Excellent location and room, staff very helpful. Jug of milk brought over to remedy lack of milk. Breakfast very good, menu for restaurant not to our liking as fish/vegetarian and rather expensive. That said Utrecht offered many other alternatives which we found to our liking, especially the De Beveling restaurant A beautiful city with splendid walks, bars, canals and oh so friendly
