The history of Château St. Gerlach dates back to the twelfth century. The stylish baroque gardens and a luscious rose garden are part of the estate on which Château St. Gerlach offers its hotel services since 1997. In this historic setting you can now enjoy the hotel's luxury and comfort.
On the country estate guests can use the indoor Roman pool, the sauna an the Turkish steambath free of charge. On bright days the large sliding doors are opened, to enable guests to sunbathe. In the S.P.A. & Wellness guests can also experience the utmost enjoyment and relaxation. Here guests can undergo all kinds of body treatments. Guests can relax in the lovely lounge or on one of the terraces in the surrounding garden as well.
The rooms of the hotel are equipped with a bathroom with a toilet, shower or bath, a television, telephone, access to Wireless Internet (at a charge), minibar and safe. In addition to its standard hotel rooms, Château St. Gerlach can also offer guests planning a business and/or longer stay accommodation in one of its large apartment suites. The extensive breakfast buffet is served on weekdays from 07:00 to 10:00 h. On weekends guests can have breakfast from 08:00 to 11:30 h. The breakfast room in the pavilion looks out over the herb garden and the valley of the river Geul.
The restaurant is located in various salons that all have a unique character. The walls and ceilings are graced by many paintings. The menu is inspired by the French cuisine and the exclusive wine-list will make your culinary experience complete.
Château St. Gerlach also has a bistro where you can taste many savoury regional dishes in an informal setting. For a nice local beer you can also have a seat here. It is recommended to make a timely reservation for both lunch and dinner.
Guests may enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner on one of the various terraces on sunny days.

The landscape of the province Limburg is marked by the many hills. From the Wilhelmina tower you will have a beautiful view of this area. The ruins of the Castle Valkenburg are a famous attraction of the city.
