Hotel Den Halder is a very suitable operating base for exploring the beautiful Limburg countryside. It is situated in a quiet street in the charming town of Valkenburg. The hotel has standard rooms with shower and toilet and television, the deluxe rooms also feature a whirlpool and Internet connection. There is a cozy bar with a billiard table where guests can relax and can go for a drink or a bite to eat. There is also a TV with a big screen.

Valkenburg is a famous tourist place in the beautiful South Limburg, with many cozy restaurants, cafes and terraces. There is a casino where you can take a gamble, you can visit the theme park Valkenier and fairytale park Sprookjesbos. A cable railway leads to the lookout tower Wilhelminatoren, here you have a beautiful view of Valkenburg and the valley Geuldal. There are toboggan runs and with the 100 meter long zip wire you can whizz your way down again. In winter there is a convivial Christmas market in Valkenburg.
